Renovated in fall 2013, the spacious apartment features brand new hardwood floors, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and comfortable modern furnishings – all intended to appeal to weary urbanites.

The open floor plan includes a social kitchen and abundant natural light. Generous windows and outdoor deck spaces create opportunities for enjoying the apartment's position directly overlooking Kedron Brook.

The 1500sf apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people with a king sized bed and queen sleeper sofa. An aerobed and pack-n-play are available for additional guests upon request.

Apartment includes a garage with elevator to the main level. All doors, bathroom fixtures and amenities are 100% handicapped-accessible.

Amenities include free broadband wifi, comcast cable, and m-cell connectivity (improves AT+T cell phone use).

We sought a property that would specifically be different from other offerings locally. The quintessential Vermont farmhouse is easy to find and may compromise some of the needs of some travelers. This property was built from the frame of an 1890 building in a quiet and very charming hamlet - and modernized in 2013.

A great stay in Woodstock

We had a great stay in Woodstock recently. The apartment was great, very modern with a great bed. The owner Bob was very friendly and very helpful with some great local recommendations. It was a ten minute drive from the main part of Woodstock but had a great local market shop which served a delicious breakfast. We would love to return to Woodstock, such a beautiful place, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Best Corporate Retreat Ever

We had a fantastic time at this South Woodstock location! Bob was tremendously helpful, the amenities were all there, the place was impeccably clean while maintaining a cozy vibe - everything was superb! Loved the babbling brook, walking to the general store (amazing breakfast sandwich and awesome micro-brew selection), swimming at the local pond, and venturing into Woodstock for shopping and a great hike to a Woodstock overlook. The house offered great space for our company meetings (11 folks!) and the sleeping quarters were comfortable and quiet, even when others insisted on staying up late :)

A very peacful, relaxing, and convenient location.

My wife and I spent a beautiful Vermont fall week in this well appointed condo. The unit sits on a pretty little brook that you can enjoy from the two spacious decks overlooking the woods, and the sounds of the brook add to the relaxing feeling both outside and in. The open floor plan combined with expansive windows made for a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen was easy to use and convenient for our needs. You are walking distance to the South Woodstock general store where they serve great sandwiches that you can pack off for hiking. You are also walking distance to the Kedron Valley Inn where you can have a wonderful lunch or dinner in the historic dining room. Bob is very easy and accommodating to work with. We plan to come back again to enjoy another relaxing week in South Woodstock.

Everything We Needed

We spent four nights at the South Woodstock apt. and had a wonderful stay in the area. Bob was eager to help us plan our days and gave many great ideas of things to do in the area. We found this location in VT to be very central to many of the things we hoped to see. Beautiful setting and good amenities!

Wonderful Weekend

The PERFECT Getaway

Superlatives abound when speaking of this property and its owners. First and foremost, Bob is the consummate innkeeper -- amiable, welcoming and responsive. Comfort is more than assured. The South Woodstock (SoWo) location is ideal given its separation from the main town of Woodstock, though the "hustle and bustle" is only a short scenic ride away. SoWo is as bucolic as it comes. The country store is a perfect spot to have right across the street for provisions and sundries, and the Kedron Valley Inn is inspiring for its food, drink, ambiance and pond. The apartment is modern and well-appointed, and its location over the brook is about as soothing as it gets. Falling asleep to that sound every night is the perfect prescription for a city dweller. The two decks flanking the apartment allow for ample outdoor lounging, each beneficial at different times of the day depending on your mood. You literally could not dream up a better spot to get away from it all while still enjoying certain amenities. I cannot recommend this property enough and look forward to experiencing it in every season.
