A calm oasis to return to after a long day of exploring Paris, Serene Caulaincourt is a unique apartment offering modern comfort with classic touches that are sure to appeal. What really makes this apartment stand out is its access. Located both at a courtyard and 3rd floor level you'll not have to worry about stairs to get into the flat.
Our elegantly designed contemporary sofa bed opens from the seat back. This Italian design has already been the delight of many of our guests in some of the other FLHP apartments, as it allows for an 11 cm thick double mattress for 2 additional guests if needed.
The living room is separated from the entrance hall by its own door so you are sure to have privacy. It overlooks trees and is equipped with a cable TV, dvd player and dvd's, a Bose bluetooth station...
The Bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size bed as well as plenty of storage space and a desk with a Mac computer for your use during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes a washer and separate dryer. If you love cooking, this is the right kitchen!
So welcome to your home in Paris, Serene Caulaincourt!
After more than 10 years abroad, I decided to come back to France and Paris where I was born. I really appreciate living again in Paris, city of light! I am the company manager and take care of the bookings, the check-in, check-out, manage the services proposed during our guests' stay and coordinate with the apartment owners... In Feels Like Home in Paris we have decided to offer you only cosy and comfortable apartments which all have the same services : iPhone for free, laptop, cable TV, wifi, international calls for free during your stay, a personal greeting on arrival, a full welcome basket...By greeting you, it is ike welcoming friends. So à bientôt à Paris!
I would say instead "Why using a professional agency?" To make sure to get what you expect on arrival : a property perfectly clean, somebody waiting for you an arrival, someone on call 7 days a week...So it will really make your stay smoother and easier!
The apartment was great. Everything had been considered for a comfortable stay in Paris. The property was spotlessly clean and had many little touches to make it feel like home. The area was perfect for us with lots of food shops and bars and restaurants nearby but at the same time it was very quiet in the apartment. The metro is five minutes away which makes it very convenient for central Paris though we walked as much as possible. We would definitely return.
Great property with all the amenities of home. Comfortable and spacious living room and all modern appliances in the kitchen. Quiet area with loads of restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries and shopping close by. Easy walking access to all the local sites as well as the metro if you want to go further afield. We were greeted by Jim who gave us an overview of the property and area and arranged our transportation to the airport on departure day.
Recommend the free walking tour of the area with Discover Walks or a Sunday stroll through Le Marais.
After rushing from Prague, to Salzburg and to Munich the 3 nights at 65 Rue Calaincourt were exactly what we needed. The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us. Great location and it had all that we needed for our stay. Bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was great. Jim really helped us out after a very warm night and brought my wife a fan. This neighborhood was great and has everything you need from cafes, groceries, ATM right up the street and the access to the Train 12 made our travels a snap getting into the city.
We loved going up to the Pigalle stop and taking in all the restaurants in that area. Very easy walk to Sacre Coure as well. We look forward to working with Stephanie and her staff for our next trip to Paris. Wouldn't do it any other way now.
The apartment was everything and more as described. It has everything you could possibly need and was very much like home. We had a lovey stay.
The property was exactly as pictured, a beautiful, serene and spacious apartment in Montmatre. It had everything I needed for an extended stay in Paris: fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, washer and dryer. It was well maintained, clean, charming in a safe area and close to public transport.
Stephanie from Feels Like Home in Paris was waiting for me when I arrived at the apartment to welcome me and show me around.
The amenities were excellent including an iPhone for use during my stay, plenty of information about the apartment and the neighbourhood and a wonderful welcome basket on arrival. I was also provided with some information on booking, including a nearby French cookery school with classes taught in English.
I booked a croissant making class which I thoroughly enjoyed and only wish I had been able to book in a few more classes.
I loved my stay in Paris and would definitely recommend this property as well as "Feels Like Home in Paris" to friends and relatives.
3 adults shared this clean and gracious apartment with ease and privacy. The neighborhood is friendly and convenient...we prepared meals from the excellent offerings up and down the street. Access to Metro was easy - although the station has many stairs, there is an elevator. In-unit washer and dryer were modern and efficient. Hosts were helpful and accessible. Highly recommend the hosts and this apartment.
Montmartre is a fantastic neighbourhood to discover and reside in. Located one minute from one of Paris's most frequent north-south bus lines (bus 80)-- carrying passengers to the Champs Elysees and even the Eiffel Tower.
Three minutes walk down rue Caulaincourt brings you to bus 95, which whisks you to the Louvre, Montparnasse, and antique markets at the Porte Clignancourt. We are also located a short distance from metro line 12, which can bring you to the Tuileries gardens and the Musee d'Orsay.
The apartment is an ideal springboard for sightseeing anywhere in Paris and beyond. Wine merchants, green grocers, two good bakers (one which was in the film Julie and Julia), an award-winning patissier, cheese shops, a butcher and great little local restaurants all line rue Caulaincourt and its continuation into rue Custine
