A calm oasis to return to after a long day of exploring Paris, Serene Caulaincourt is a unique apartment offering modern comfort with classic touches that are sure to appeal. What really makes this apartment stand out is its access. Located both at a courtyard and 3rd floor level you'll not have to worry about stairs to get into the flat.
Our elegantly designed contemporary sofa bed opens from the seat back. This Italian design has already been the delight of many of our guests in some of the other FLHP apartments, as it allows for an 11 cm thick double mattress for 2 additional guests if needed.
The living room is separated from the entrance hall by its own door so you are sure to have privacy. It overlooks trees and is equipped with a cable TV, dvd player and dvd's, a Bose bluetooth station...
The Bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size bed as well as plenty of storage space and a desk with a Mac computer for your use during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes a washer and separate dryer. If you love cooking, this is the right kitchen!
So welcome to your home in Paris, Serene Caulaincourt!
After more than 10 years abroad, I decided to come back to France and Paris where I was born. I really appreciate living again in Paris, city of light! I am the company manager and take care of the bookings, the check-in, check-out, manage the services proposed during our guests' stay and coordinate with the apartment owners... In Feels Like Home in Paris we have decided to offer you only cosy and comfortable apartments which all have the same services : iPhone for free, laptop, cable TV, wifi, international calls for free during your stay, a personal greeting on arrival, a full welcome basket...By greeting you, it is ike welcoming friends. So à bientôt à Paris!
I would say instead "Why using a professional agency?" To make sure to get what you expect on arrival : a property perfectly clean, somebody waiting for you an arrival, someone on call 7 days a week...So it will really make your stay smoother and easier!
We have used Feels Like Home in Paris for several years now and always had excellent service and amazing apartments. This year was no different. Nothing was too much trouble for Stephanie before our arrival, she made sure that we had all the information that we needed. The apartment was beautiful. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and in an ideal location. Perfect for exploring Montmatre and all of Paris. We would stay here again and will use Feels like Home in Paris for our next trip!
Paris is always a refuge for me, no matter my mood, enhanced in large part by staying in "my" apartment each time I go. Travel doesn't get better than that.
This was my 12th visit to Paris, but the most enjoyable, largely due to the excellently appointed and located apartment. The service from first booking to checking-in was excellent and we truly did 'feel like home' in Paris
Lovely spacious, clean, bright welcoming and well equipped apartment. Matched perfectly our expectations after viewing the photos on the web site. Great location in Montmartre and after stepping through the door on the busy and lively Rue Caulaincourt we found a quiet courtyard leading to the apartment (no steps - big bonus!) and when in the apartment we were totally unaware of any hustle and bustle - it is a very peaceful apartment which was much appreciated. Our flight was delayed so we did not get to meet Stephanie yet she was available to our texts and emails and responded very promptly leaving us very clear instructions on how to enter the building and apartment. Lovely welcome touch was a basket of the essentials - tea, coffee, water, chocolate, WINE :) foie gras too (we are vegetarian so didn't eat this). Washer and drier were very much used and meant we could've travelled light and we were able to refresh the towels. Hot water all the time - lovely long bath after a day out and about - bliss. We didn't use the lap top or iPhone , too technically challenging for us but we did use our own connected to the wifi. We had a great week on the Monet trail - Orangery, Giverny and Marmottan Museum the latter being an absolute gem, very quiet and tranquil gallery with a superb collection of Monets works. The little bar just at the top of the steps to the Lemark/Caulaincourt metro has happy hour (s) and the staff were very friendly. As vegetarians we found it difficult to eat out although there is a cafe - Soul food - in Montmartre which sounded great but doesn't open in the evenings. We made good use of the kitchen which we found had everything we needed and clear instructions how to use the cooker and microwave. Just one little word of caution - the building is old and the floors in the apartment have a definite lean, this adds to the character of an old building but it is a little disconcerting to feel that we were listing - even when we had not had any wine !!! Great place and would recommend it without hesitation.
The perfect property for our family holiday in Paris (2 adults plus 2 children aged 9 & 11).
Everything we needed was close by... good restaurants, cafes, shops, ATM etc. - and there's a very well stocked supermarket just across the road. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and facilities were excellent, in good working order and exactly as described.
The apartment is situated at the back of the building, so it offers the perfect combination of being able to walk out of the main door into vibrant Montmartre, while still providing a peaceful haven after a long day's sightseeing.
The nearby bus connections are also very useful, with the no. 80 & no. 95 buses running regularly and often, and taking only about 20 minutes to get into central Paris.
A huge thank you to Stephanie and her team for making us feel so welcome and for providing such a great place to stay! Would recommend it 100%.
The apartment was great. Everything had been considered for a comfortable stay in Paris. The property was spotlessly clean and had many little touches to make it feel like home. The area was perfect for us with lots of food shops and bars and restaurants nearby but at the same time it was very quiet in the apartment. The metro is five minutes away which makes it very convenient for central Paris though we walked as much as possible. We would definitely return.
Montmartre is a fantastic neighbourhood to discover and reside in. Located one minute from one of Paris's most frequent north-south bus lines (bus 80)-- carrying passengers to the Champs Elysees and even the Eiffel Tower.
Three minutes walk down rue Caulaincourt brings you to bus 95, which whisks you to the Louvre, Montparnasse, and antique markets at the Porte Clignancourt. We are also located a short distance from metro line 12, which can bring you to the Tuileries gardens and the Musee d'Orsay.
The apartment is an ideal springboard for sightseeing anywhere in Paris and beyond. Wine merchants, green grocers, two good bakers (one which was in the film Julie and Julia), an award-winning patissier, cheese shops, a butcher and great little local restaurants all line rue Caulaincourt and its continuation into rue Custine
