Nicolle at Out of the Blue
About Nicolle at Out of the Blue
As a busy family, we love to get away from our busy lives and unplug down on the Fleurieu Coast, and we loved it so much, that after years of dreaming, we bought the lovely Out of the Blue Cottage, and we love it there as much as you will.
Why Nicolle at Out of the Blue chose Normanville
Free from daily life, its wonderful to unplug from life and play board games, eat simply, stroll on the beach, and recharge. And Out of the Blue is a compact ad clean little place, with all the needs of the shops at the door, but after a few minutes stroll you are on the beach! and then when the day is done, the deck and a good night sleep awaits.
What makes this Cottage unique
one level (no stairs, except the front step), close to the shops and a simple floor plan, plus it is impeccably clean and easy to relax in. Bliss!

In Normanville (and Yankalilla), there are shops and cafes and a couple of micro breweeries at Myponga and Carrickalinga, and in the Yankalilla area there is hiking in the hills, the Heysen Trail and Deep Creek Conservaiton Park, plus the Myponga Resevoir, cherry picking in summer, and wine tasting in the nearby McLaren Vales. But mostly, its about the beach - Yankalilla Bay and the iconic Normanville Jetty. The walk from Normanville to Carrickalinga is 5 kms of unbroken white beach, and further down the coast is Rapid Bay and Second Valley before the turn off to the Kangaroo Island ferry at Cape Jervis.
