Quebradillas is a small town on the northwest side of Puerto Rico. There are historical sites, beaches and many activities to make your stay memorable. This relaxing, modern and spacious home has a wide view of the ocean and is a unique getaway for a couple or extended family. Located on the bend of a quiet dead end residential street, overlooking the lush landscaping on the side of the mountain, there are no houses to block your view.
The interior is bright, clean and uncluttered with many views of the ocean. There are two living areas, a dinning room and kitchen in this open space designed house. The area has two ceiling fans. You can open the glass doors and extend the living space to the patio. The roof top terrace is perfect for a relaxing retreat after an active day or for evening star gazing. There’s usually no problem with bugs due to the height of the property and the ocean breeze. If you come when the whales migrate (Jan-Mar), and are patient, there’s a good chance you will spot a few.
The main floor has three bedrooms with two full baths and is wheel chair accessible. The master bedroom (17X19) has a king sized bed and a small futon. The other two (11X12) with a queen and the (12X12) with a king bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans with lights and air conditioning units. If you need more than three bedrooms, there are two other bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with one bed bunk bed and a queen, a full bath and more living space downstairs available for an additional price.
You can fly into San Juan Airport (SJU) 1hour 45 minutes away or the closer airport is Borinquen International Airport (BQN) just a 25 minute drive to the house. Grocery stores in town five minutes away , Wal-Mart or Sam's are all within 15-20 minutes away. There are also several Red Box kiosks in the area.
This house is a great home base. Go discover and enjoy the island, then when you’re ready, come home and take in the spectacular view.

Benjamin Velez purchased this house in 2011
Nestled up on a hill over viewing the ocean. This home is open and bright with lots of space for family and friends.
Very short distance from main highway where there are shops, restaurants, site seeing, and the beach.
I would highly recommend this house to friends and family. We stayed for 5 days during this past New Year’s holiday and we all quickly felt at home. The house was comfortable, well maintained, clean and very safe. The outdoor porch was our families’ favorite hangout. Probably because of the stunning views!! I have to say that the ocean views and greenery were so much more beautiful in person that on the pictures online. I also loved that supermarkets and the local attractions were just minutes away. Last but not least, the rooftop terrace…we were able to enjoy the New Year’s Eve fireworks, all around Quebradillas from our private terrace!
The only thing I would improve is the futon in the master bedroom. We planned on having our 12-year-old sleep on it but It was not comfortable at all. Other than that, I can assure you it was a wonderful stay and experience.
We stayed throughout the holidays Dec 15 to 26, 2016.
The villa and the amenities were satisfying. The owner was courteous and accommodating. The location was good if you want to be away from The hubub of San Juan and don't mind going for a drive here and there. Overall Puerto Rico was phenomenal!
The only major inconvenience at the villa was barking dogs at night. Pretty much every night, pretty much all night long. One neighbor has four small dogs that he seem to bring in at night. They do not seem to be a problem, if you don't mind daytime barking.
The other neighbor has two that seem to be much more lively at night.
I would simply choose a different place to stay if we were to return.
We love dogs and have some of our own, we also understand it may be hard to exercise any control over the neighbor's dogs or what happens at night as an absentee home owner.
Without trying to get a discount, We brought it up to the owner as a friendly piece of advice off-line mano a mano and were told it was an unknown problem to him despite previous reviews.
We felt it was our duty to let people know about the potentially sleepless villa option that was presented to them.
We hope this problem gets resolved for potential future guests,
Hasta la proxima!

This is a beautiful house, this is a perfect house for a big family or group. The living room AC was not working, so it got a little hot.
The owner was very accommodating and quick to response. There are items that you can take to the beach, we took the cooler and just bought water at the store. We did find a dirty towel that had toothpaste on it, but we didn't let that ruin our stay. If I could buy a house in Puerto Rico, this would be the one.
Hi to all future rentals.
I stay at this house for about 5 days and the location is great.
Enough of everything. Rooms are big and spacious.
The only observation I have is that the house need more cleaning. I know was rented up to the very last day before we arrives maybe that was the reason no enough time to clean. I don't know.
We like the view and the place is very quiet.
I highly recommend the house.
The hose was well appointed and spacious. The living room AC needs to be repaired it was hot in the house. We have a wonderful satay.
Located 10 minutes away is Guajataca Beach and the historic tunnel. The tunnel connected the towns of Quebradillas and Isabela on the Guajataca River canyon. Palm trees and beach greet you as you arrive but walk through the tunnel to the other beach and you will see its white sand, raging surf, and turbulent waters. This side is less populated and good for shelling.
Lago Dos Bocas is a man made lake one hour away where you have your choice of several restaurants to choose from. After you have chosen they take you by boat to the restaurant to dine by the water. On the drive you will experience interior Puerto Rico.
Crashboat Beach is 20 minutes away. A beautiful setting with palm trees and colorful fishing boats. Watch in awe as the boats are brought up on land by gunning their motors and running the boats onto the beach. They also sell the fish they’ve caught. There are food and drink tents where you can get a Pina Colada and chicken on a stick. The snorkeling is fabulous around the pier. It's a great place to spend the day under a palm tree.
Surfers will love Jobos Beach located 15 minutes away in Isabela, This beach offers an interesting combination of mild waters, perfect for families with children, and rough water perfect for surfers, plus opportunities for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing and canoeing. Don't forget to visit El Poso de Jacinto.
Rio Camuy Caves are one hour away and a pleasant change from the beach. The tour is informative and awe inspiring. The caves maintain a 65-70 degree temperature so it's a great way to cool off. It's a wonderful family outing.
