About Toni Bennett
I lived 20 years in Maui. I currently live in Delray Beach, Florida. But I love the island feel, and discovered the lovely St. Croix. It is such a refreshing visit. The people are so gracious and friendly. I am a massage therapist, retired nurse, and counselor. I enjoy making people happy and helping them to have a good time.
Toni Bennett purchased this Condo in 2017

This property was just a described. I truly appreciated having a whole condo to myself and for the price you can't beat it. It had all the amenities that you could imagine. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, towels, sheets, blankets, snorkeling gear, pots, pans, silverware cups etc. They even had seasonings and other condiments. It had a patio in which had a chair and table set that you can sit out and relax and look at the ocean in the distance. The room and the living room have ac and fans if you get too hot. Yes it gets very hot in St Croix. Toni the owner is amazing he responded very quickly to my text messages also, I had a small issue with the shower. Toni the owner made a call or two and it was resolved in the matter of minutes. Toni also, checked on me periodically throughout my stay to ensure that I was well or needed anything. After, the stay Toni also followed up to make sure that I enjoyed my trip. I thought it was very hospitable and amazing of Toni to do that. You will certainly need a car because transportation didn't appear to be so efficient. I did notice a bus however, I'm not certain of how it worked. They do have a few restaurants chocolaté and a few others that were in a 10-15 minute walking distance. It could be less but I had a car. They drive on the opposite side of the street from the states. That was fun. Terresa the house keeper was also a big and help and lived close by. She was waiting at the curb for me when I arrrived. Be aware that if it's not a major road or area most residential and side streets are not labeled and the locals normally refer to landmarks to get you where you are going. However, the island is not so big you will learn those landmarks very quickly and be able to navigate with ease. Your GPS system should get you to most places. You can drive any kind of car but I now see why jeeps are recommended. Some roads are washed out and have tons on potholes and humps and bumps. The main roads appear to be better taken cars of. Overall, my stay was amazing the condo was comfy and accommodating and located in a central area that could get you anywhere that you need to be in a matter of minutes. The management and care providers for the condo were superb.
Thank you for your very detailed and helpful review. It was certainly a pleasure hosting you !
Clean and cozy condo
We enjoyed our stay at Toni's place.
The caretaker was also very friendly.
2 minutes from the ocean and 10 to the boardwalk area. Great place.
Very clean, quiet location. Close by fast food, grocery stores and gas station. Close to the beach, Will book again.
Fun in the sun
Place was perfect for my wife and I. We spent most of our time on the water but were happy to have a quiet place to crash at night.
The property worked out well for our 2 day visit at Toni's place.
Toni's had great communication with us, to make sure we arrived safely and all our needs were met. The condo had the things we needed and made our stay enjoyable.
Cute little apartment
We stayed for four nights in December and it was great! We never met Toni but he was communicative and friendly, as was the caretaker, Teresa. The place has all the basics and was comfortable enough, with working AC, a cute little bathroom and kitchen. We never tried the saltwater pool but it looked great. We explored around the area and swam nearby at Pelican Cove. Also really cool that there are horses roaming around the area. We bought a bag of carrots and fed a few of them as we passed by.
The only tip I'd give for travelers considering staying here is be sure you rent a car! We like to walk, a lot, and figured we'd just take taxis on occasion when it was too far to walk. Well getting a taxi on St Croix can take up an hour or two, and sometimes just isn't possible. We were hoping to rent bikes or scooters in town but there were none available.. nor any cars - so be sure to secure transportation in advance!
Thanks Jack, it was a pleasure hosting you . Thank you for your review , I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Aloha , Toni
It is recommended that you have a car, walking is difficult , with no sidewalks . Otherwise , all amenities are only a short drive .
