About Nancy Pedersen

My kids and I live in Chelmsford Massachusetts. It only took me one visit to Marco to know I wanted to own a piece of paradise. Three visits later I purchased this beach front condo. I get excited every time I have a trip planned to return to Marco and I hope my guests enjoy it as much as I do.

Why Nancy Pedersen chose Marco Island

Marco is unlike many other places I have travelled to. It's easily accessible from Ft. Myers airport (50 minute drive) Once you cross over the bridge to this 4 mile x 6 mile island you feel like you are totally away from the regular hustle and bustle of life. My Sea Winds Condo is right on the beach, you step off the boardwalk and the water is right there. Other complexes down the beach require a LONG trek just to reach the ocean. Marco Island as a whole is clean, beautifully manicured and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. People are super nice and it's not overpopulated.

What makes this condo unique

The 21' Lanai is my favorite place to be. The sunset views are spectacular. Since the unit is on the first floor (about 10 feet off ground level) I enjoy seeing grass, palm trees, sand and ocean at eye level instead of being way up high.

Been going to marco for over 25 years.. this was our favorite condo we have ever stayed. Loved the first floor...super clean...everything we needed was included in the condo...Nancy was so easy to work with...we will definitely try to rent this condo next time we are in marco.

Great location, beautiful sunset beach view!

We had a great experience staying on Marco at Sea Winds. There were a few issues while we were there, however. Cleanliness could have been improved as there were significant amounts of dust on light fixtures and vents, and the balcony entrances were full of bugs. The floor had been hastily swept prior to our arrival as when we showed up there was a worm in the middle of the living area and visible dirt in corners. The air conditioning stopped working while we were there for over 24 hours which was uncomfortable for sleeping, especially for our 1.5 yr old! Of course, these things can happen, and the owner had a tech team come in and replace the thermostat which was a 3 hour disruption but we were glad it was resolved. We had to purchase basic items which seemed like they should have been supplied (dish soap, plastic wrap (there was no tupperware with lids), toilet paper). There were 3 beach umbrellas that were all broken so we did not have any shade for our beach days. It seems like the owner needs to be there more often or have someone properly checking the condo before renters come in. Simple fixes would make this a perfect place to have a relaxing family vacation!

Owner's Response: It is unfortunate that your stay was less then perfect and for that I am sincerely disappointed. You failed to mention, however, that I credited you one full night stay for the inconvenience of having the AC repaired during your stay. As an owner, it is impossible to know when something will malfunction, but this was addressed immediately and fixed the following day. When I was notified about the umbrellas, I asked you to please discard them and if you wished, you could go across the street to the beach shop and purchase one or two more and I would reimburse you. You declined that offer and left them in the closet for the next guest to find. I have since spoken to my cleaner about the dust and floors so he can address it with his employees so it does not happen again in the future. Lastly, I do visit the condo 3-4 times a year for general maintenance, painting, repairing and replacing items. Unfortunately, in September, Hurricane Irma hit and that trip needed to be rescheduled. Then, the next trip in October also had to be cancelled because my mother passed away. Soon after that the condo was booked with many of my repeat visitors. I am scheduled to go in January for my usual maintenance and I will have a discussion with my cleaner to keep basic necessities stocked.

Great location on the island and in the complex.

Nancy made the entire process easy. She was very accommodating and returned messages and emails very promptly. The complex is very clean and security is very good. The balcony was the highlight for us! The view from the living area and master bedroom can’t be beat. The weather was on the cooler side while we were there so we had the sliding doors open all the time even at night so we could hear the surf:). Queen bed was very comfortable. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your place with us.

We really enjoyed this unit. It is tastefully decorated and fully equipped for all of your vacation needs.

The balcony was great affording us the beautiful sights and sounds of Gulf!

Would definitely book again...the owner was really great to work with!
