I am a New Zealander married to an Irishman, we have lived in France 13 years. I work for Sotheby's Real Estate while Finn, my husband, works for the Savannah School of Art and Design which has a campus here in Lacoste

Why caron mac eoin chose Lacoste
Lacoste is an authentic Luberon village overlooking the valley that is a picture in all seasons. Close to all amenities and cultural events, yet peaceful. Real French village life. The apartment is private and has a great view.
What makes this Apartment unique
Always the view, the light and the authenticity. Lacoste is NOT home to tourist boutiques and buses dropping off their loads for a whistle stop tour. It is gentle and relaxed.

Couldn't have been any better! Unit was exactly as described and photos were very accurate. It was very clean, has everything you will need and close to so many places to visit. View is the best!
Hosts Finn and Caron are amazing people and we hope to stay in touch. Finn is a delightful story teller and poet. True Renaissance Man.
It was my wife's first experience overseas and it could not have been better. Finn will even customize an itinerary based on your input. It was a lifetime experience.
This little place will live in our hearts forever...
Charming and comfortable!
We stayed for five nights and would certainly consider returning for a much longer stay. The apartment is charming and comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing: we loved how the little town of Bonnieux across the valley was invisible in the morning shade but as the afternoon sun climbed, it lit up -appearing like magic. Our hosts were wonderful and gave us great information about the area which we explored each day.
Thank you so much, Finn and Caron, for a fantastic experience. In spite of the rainy weather, we had a great time in the area. Sitting out on the patio, was so enjoyable and the views were stunning. We even enjoyed watching the rain storms coming through the valley. We spent 6 days touring the area and really enjoyed the sights and time spent in the small towns. The wine was wonderful and going to the local markets was so much fun, looking and buying all of the wonderful fruits and vegetables that were available. We really enjoyed the apartment and hearing the history of the stable and the local history as well. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week before we joined our river cruise in Cannes.

The apartment in Lacoste was perfect! Finn and Caron are wonderful hosts, helpful but never intrusive. The view from the terrace is spectacular, and we enjoyed it often. We will definitely return.
Great location and apartment
Well appointed with everything you might need from hairdryer to clothes washer to first aid kit to kitchen utensils. Comfortable bed. Very central location for traveling around Provence. Pretty medieval town.
Great Apartment in a Beautiful Village
We recently spent a week at Finn and Caron's apartment in Lacoste. The apartment, a renovated stable below the main house, is quaint, charming, comfortable, and has an incredible view from the terrace across the valley to Bonnieux. The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to dine in (we ate all breakfasts and several suppers during the week in the apartment). The apartment has a washer and a drying rack (no drier so plan to allow time for clothes to hang dry if you plan on doing laundry during your stay).
Relax on the terrace with a coffee and watch the sun come up or enjoy a glass of rose after a day of exploring.
Lacoste is a beautiful medieval village. All of it is an easy walk from the apartment. From the Marquis de Sade's old Chateau (now owned by Pierre Cardin) at the top of the hill you have almost a 360 degree view.
Finn met us on arrival and showed us through the apartment. Throughout the week he was a wealth of information about where to visit or where to eat. He was also full of stories about his life and about the surrounding area. Finn is a writer, poet, local historian, and an all around interesting fellow. He was an absolute delight to visit with.
The two restaurants in town, when they are open, are both quite good. There are also lots of cafes in neighbouring villages within a short drive. The pizza truck that sets up in town on Tuesday nights makes pretty decent pizzas.
Lacoste is ideally located in Provence. Marseilles, Aix-en-Provence, and Avignon are all easy day trips. We chose to spend our time exploring Lacoste and surrounding villages, all of which are beautiful.
We have no hesitation recommending this property for its great owners, comfort, amenities, view, and location.
Each village in the area has a market so it is possible to find one on every day of the week, all with their own character. Cotes du Rhone wine valley is 45 minutes drive away and offers numerous wine tasting vineyards.
