My wife and I really enjoy the Sunland Village East Community and decided that this would be a place that we would like to be in our retirement . We bought this house a year ago and have totally remodeled it to be a perfect winter property. We hope to be able to utilize this house and community as one of our favorite winter spots after we retire.
The house is located within a short walking distance of most of the amenities of the community including the main clubhouse, pool, exercise room, golf clubhouse and restaurant, tennis courts, and other facilities. The rental includes the use of access key cards for use of all the community facilities.
We were very happy with this home, its location, the community amenities and the very kind and helpful host and hostess. The furnishings were very comfortable with wonderful beds, easy chairs, a well equipped kitchen. As we do not eat out regularly we were delighted to have a great kitchen. The home is well lit with great ventilation, a lovely sun room and patio as well as a well furnished living room. We were taken on a tour of the community amenities many of which were within an easy walking distance. We used the pools, gym, library, played cards and attended some activities in the auditorium. All shopping was within an easy drive with low traffic..which we loved.
We hope that some day we will be able to return.
This home is beautiful and it is in a great location in a very active and welcoming adult community. The pictures accurately reflect a home that has been fully remodeled with loving care by the owners.........in fact, in many ways, the pictures aren't able to do it full justice. The owners themselves provide excellent accommodations in the home and are warm and inviting. We greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property to active adults looking for a winter getaway (or anytime for that matter).
We stayed here for a week in May and thoroughly enjoyed the house! It is very conveniently located, but very quiet. The house had recently been updated with high end appliances, beautiful furniture and TV's in the bedrooms and living room. The owners were attentive to the one issue we had with hooking up to wireless internet. Even though it was late in the evening, they immediately hopped in their car and drove over to rectify the problem (which we told them could easily wait until the next day!)
The house is in a lovely 55+ community and very close to Costco, restaurants and the Superstition Mall.
We are looking forward to a return visit!
Our home is located in a 55+ community that offers all the amenities to keep you busy and having fun. There is an 18 hole golf course, 6 tennis courts, swim & lap pools, spa pools, lawn bowling, softball, 2 exercise facilities, hobby workshop facilities, personal bikes for your use. We are close to great restaurants, shopping malls & outdoor shopping, Mesa Flea Market, mountains, movie theaters, easy access to 2 freeways and 14 minutes from Mesa Gateway Airport. Amenities and attractions to keep you busy from sunrise to sunset. Our home is fully updated and has two outdoor patios, and BBQ.
