What makes this house unique

Our home has over 100 feet of lake shore frontage and has one of the few sandy beaches on Big Detroit. Our home also sits on a level lot less than 75 feet from the lake. A level lot means no steep stairs to negotiate on your way to the beach or the dock and you can watch your children play in the sand along the shore from the front deck.

Wonderful cabin for our big family and our dog!

  • 5 of 5

we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was wonderful! It was so clean, spacious, and had everything you could possibly need! My boys loved the guest cabin too. The only downside was the weedy swim area..i tried to float and play on our lily pad, but getting off in the weeds and muck was not fun. The lake had a nasty smell too. We did enjoy jet skiing over to the sand bar and the main.beach too. so that worked. Everything else was so great! I would recommend. Also loved that our dog was welcome too!

Fun, clean house on the lake

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 had a great time at this rental! There were plenty of beds and bedrooms for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked. We had family over for dinner and easily had tables and chairs for everyone. The kids enjoyed the beach and running around in the yard as well as their very own guest house right next to the main house. Mike was nice to work with and the check out process was the easiest I have ever had!

Two things you should know are: 1) the lake at the dock is about 24 inches deep, which was just a bit shallow for our boat and 2) there is a gravel drive to the left of the house when looking at it from the street that belongs to the neighbor and should not be blocked. These 2 things were easily overcome for an all around fabulous family reunion and lake vacation!

Peaceful and beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed our stay at this lake house this summer. I could have spent all day sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the lake, listening to the loons, and watching the kids fish off the dock. But for a change of scenery, it was a short drive around the lakeshore to the public beach area with the restaurants etc. The house was well equipped and had a fun, beachy style.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. We had everything there that we needed. With 7 of us, the extra fridge really came in handy. The kids enjoyed the bunk house and it was great to have extra space. My dad of 90 years young was with and it was very easy for him to get around the property because it was close to the lake. I was a little concerned about only one bathroom but it worked out well. Its well worth the money. The owner was great in communicating with us during the arrival and departure.

Great find!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic week. The pictures show the place perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed and the extra fridge in the guest house came in handy. The beds were super comfy and the central air was greatly appreciated. There were 8 women in our group and my husband so the one bathroom was a little interesting but it seemed to work out. The closeness to the lake was nice and we had a beautiful view. Well worth the money and I recommend this home! The owners were fantastic to work with. We're hoping to stay again in two years.
