Nice size house for large groups

  • 5 of 5

It was my 40th birthday when we booked this place so we had quite a few people. I was surprised at how large the rooms were, a few of us needed pack n' play space for our little babies and there was ample space in each of the 5 bedrooms. I loved the location, a short walk to the lodge at Snoqualmie Central. It poured rain the whole weekend but that didn't matter to the kids or adults because the house is so big! The hot tub was good too because it was very warm. I've been to places before where they don't let the temperature above 100 degrees and that just isn't warm enough, it's amazing what a couple more degrees can feel like. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay! Kim and friends

Owner's Response: Hi Kim, I am so glad you were able to enjoy the mountain in spite of a little rain :-). Thanks for taking care of our cabin and for sharing your experiences here. Yes, the house is deceptively big! Lots of places to spread out your group. What is the point of hot tub if it isn't hot???? It's not a warm tub after all! Come and stay again soon. Cheers Terry

Nice house, make sure to ask about supplies

  • 3 of 5

Great location and spacious house. Lacked some basic things though, particularly enough space heaters for each room. It also didn't have sufficient dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, hand soap, and serving pieces -- so make sure to bring your own or make sure the owner has re-stocked the house. It also took us forever to find towels - they were left in the dryer. .just a tip in case you have the same issue.

Owner's Response: Megan, thank you for the feedback. This is a new home for us as rental so a few minor bugs to work out. The house is primarily heated with the two gas fireplaces. Using the fan in the living room should more than adequately heat the entire upstairs. The space heaters are provided just in case, but it sounds like you needed a bit more warmth. My apologies. We are looking at wiring in permanent heaters in all bed rooms now. I heard the soap ran out, but not that there wasn't enough service ware (enough for 18). We had more than enough when the season started. We will talk with on site cleaners to recount and restock. Sorry about the towels being left in the dryer. They had to do a quick turn with back to back renters so must have missed this. Thanks for choosing our Summit Central Cabin. Glad you like the location! Come back again and we'll make sure everything is in place for you!

family of 15

Thank you for giving our family the perfect ending to our holiday season! Your home was perfect for getting to the slopes and an easy commute from Seattle! There was plenty of room and when the boys were tired after a long day of snow they were able to watch movies on Netflix. We all had such a wonderful time we are already planning for next year! Also the night before our visit we were finally blessed with snow and the Summit worked tirelessly to move snow and build sledding runs to provide an exhilarating day of play! Thanks again so much ! Hope to do it again next year!!

Great location and lots of beds

  • 4 of 5

I planned a special weekend as a post engagement celebration for my fiance. We had 12 of our closest friends join us at the Cabin. The sleeping arrangements were great. Lots of rooms and lots of bed. Its nice for each couple to have there own room. The house stays nice an warm with the wood stoves. No view from the hot tub but is covered and easily accessible. You wont think twice about going in. The parking is exceptional. Lots of room. The parking is located right off of the main hwy and is well maintains. No sketchy back roads/driveways to get stuck in. Overall it a great place with easy access to main road, ski area and grocery. The owner is super nice and very responsive.
