About Bob

Owning a Colorado Mountain Property has been a dream of mine for 30 years. I've got two degrees from Colorado Universities; Joyce gave birth to our daughter, Julie in Boulder; and my son Mike graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. Except for the schools however, my careers have taken us elsewhere. But now we (and the expanded family) can call Colorado home (sometimes).

Bob purchased this condo in 2013

Why Bob chose Summit County Colorado

While we had been through, stayed in, and enjoyed Frisco in the past, it was not until spending two weeks in a small condo in the Summer of 2013 that we knew this would be where we wanted to buy. Frisco's so small we would have been happy anywhere but when we found something right on Main Street, with all the amenities listed, we bought. We hope this will pass down through generations!

What makes this condo unique

Friendly, helpful people. The streets don't "pack" with tourists. Restaurant and great "Happy Hours" abound.

Better than advertised!

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our week in Frisco. The condo was better than advertised. It had everything we needed, and more! Comfortable beds, plenty of space, board games, DVDs/Music, bikes... The location was perfect. We left our car in the underground garage and walked almost everywhere in Frisco. We can't wait to come back.

Wow! Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just returned from this exceptional property. The welcoming bottle of wine and water was something that was over the top! We could not have been situated more perfectly to enjoy downtown Frisco and one of our favorite restaurants, The Blue Spruce Inn, which is just a block away. The unit was perfectly clean and loved having a garage to park in. Very responsive owner. You won't be disappointed.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your great review. Our location I think is one of our major draws. Also glad you made it to the Blue Spruce--also one of my favorites.

Yours is the best condo we've ever rented. Words like clean, neat, organized, and well-equipped are understatements. You seemed to have thought of everything. The "detail" household items we brought went unused.

Especially useful were your opening checklist, closing checklist, and "operations" manual. All of these were easy to follow and answered virtually every question we had. These certainly were efficient time savers.

Do you know what a treasure your housekeeper, Lacey, is? She is flexible, extremely thorough, and incredibly detailed. When we returned to the unit after her mid-stay cleaning visit, the place looked as perfect as when we first walked in on Feb 14. Don't ever let her get away!

Super accommodation and highly recommended.

  • 5 of 5

Spacious and very well thought out. Very much felt like home from home. Ideal location within Frisco and easy access to a number of ski resorts. Will definitely consider staying here again. Great communication from the outset and every thing we had a question about was answered in the briefing details. Absolutely first class all the way. This was our eighth trip to Frisco and our best ever.

Owner's Response: Thanks Tudor, I sincerely appreciate your visit to "the colonies" as my British friends like to call us, and I'm so glad everything worked out. Any little thing extra we can do is easy--we're always listening for a text or a call. Please do come back.

Cozy contemporary condo in beautiful Frisco

  • 5 of 5

We have been visiting Summit County to ski for twenty years and this accommodation is the best property we have ever rented. The condo is beautiful and spacious with views of the mountains from every window. If you prefer to cook in, the kitchen is fully equipped. If you enjoy eating out, you will be within walking distance to a variety of restaurants in quaint downtown Frisco. The property offers excellent security and an underground garage. The bus service to Copper Mountain is across the street. Although the condo is conveniently downtown, it is quiet, located on the backside corner of the building. The owners include a manual that answers any questions you may have while living in the condo. We would highly recommend this property if you want to stay in Frisco any time of year.

In the Winter, you're probably here to snowboard or ski, but consider, especially with younger kids, the sledding and tubing right in Frisco. For adventurous adults, rent a snowmobile, either at the top of Vail Pass and have a ball on 50 miles of marked trail, or again right here in Frisco. In the Summer, do some river kayaking, white water rafting, or if you're like me, grab a book, pick a scenic view, and chill.
