About Bob

Owning a Colorado Mountain Property has been a dream of mine for 30 years. I've got two degrees from Colorado Universities; Joyce gave birth to our daughter, Julie in Boulder; and my son Mike graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. Except for the schools however, my careers have taken us elsewhere. But now we (and the expanded family) can call Colorado home (sometimes).

Bob purchased this condo in 2013

Why Bob chose Summit County Colorado

While we had been through, stayed in, and enjoyed Frisco in the past, it was not until spending two weeks in a small condo in the Summer of 2013 that we knew this would be where we wanted to buy. Frisco's so small we would have been happy anywhere but when we found something right on Main Street, with all the amenities listed, we bought. We hope this will pass down through generations!

What makes this condo unique

Friendly, helpful people. The streets don't "pack" with tourists. Restaurant and great "Happy Hours" abound.

Spectacular mountain view in cozy town setting.

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay in this condo. We returned because of the excellent accommodations and comfortable setting that feels like home. The condo has everything needed and has spectacular views of the mountains. We enjoyed the town of Frisco and nearby skiing, snow shoeing, hot springs, shopping, and dining.

Owner's Response: Thanks John, Great to have you back. Hope to see you all next year. We too love the views and relaxing after a hard day skiing, or biking n the summer. Not a bad place also if exercise is not on your agenda!

Perfect location and ideal amentities

  • 5 of 5

Wish we could give this place six stars! Everything was as advertised and our expectations were exceeded. Bob was great to work with, and a very attentive owner.

Location and amentities were ideal. We spent four nights and skied at three different resorts. Proximity to the highway and all the town of Frisco offers made for a great experience.

The condo provided plenty of room for the four of us and was very well appointed. We were all very pleased with our experience.

Already looking forward to staying here again!

Best Condo Rental of Dozens I have rented!

  • 5 of 5

Over the years I have rented dozens of VRBO units throughout the United States and Western Europe. This unit which I rented with my college roommate for a week of skiing was one of the very nicest I have been in.

It is large and spacious beyond most in this price range. The furniture was very comfortable and the beds felt especially good after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need except for the food you buy. Instructions on using the units and all facets of it were excellent. Loved the fact that it was a corner unit in the back of the building so it was extremely quiet. Underground parking was a huge plus.

The condo building is in the center of Frisco which allows you to walk to numerous restaurants. I first visited Frisco in 1973 and I can assure you the quality of the restaurants is what you would expect in the ski towns of today.

If you are a skier, then this is the unit to rent. In seven days we skied Arapahoe Basin, Keystone twice, Breckenridge twice, Copper Mountain and Vail. Vail is only 30 minutes away and the other resorts are within 10-20 minutes of the unit.

Bob, the owner, was friendly and easy to reach and helped ensure we had a fabulous ski vacation.

Car: not necessary

In the Winter, you're probably here to snowboard or ski, but consider, especially with younger kids, the sledding and tubing right in Frisco. For adventurous adults, rent a snowmobile, either at the top of Vail Pass and have a ball on 50 miles of marked trail, or again right here in Frisco. In the Summer, do some river kayaking, white water rafting, or if you're like me, grab a book, pick a scenic view, and chill.
