Old stone farmhouse
Casa Sogni d'Oro is an old stone farmhouse built at the end of the XIXth century, set in the beautiful Sicilian countryside and overlooking a stunning view of the Mediterranean sea(From the maps it results close to the railway but the house is far !! )
The beauty and peace of the countryside around the house together with it's ancient garden with it's amazing variety of local Mediterranean flora, makes this an ideal place for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The house is a few minutes car drive from Sampieri, and it's long sandy beach, one of the most appealing on this part of the southern coast.
Noto (25miles), Ragusa (18,75miles),Siracusa (50miles), Modica (9 miles ) and Scicli (6 miles), reigns of the Sicilian baroque style, are all at a short distance from the house, together with the natural reserve of Vendicari and the beautiful beaches of Portopalo and Capo Passero.

- The house is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 6 to 8 adults. It disposes of two large bedrooms with double-beds and one bedroom with two single beds. Other two beds are available (one in the front-room, another in one of the bedrooms).

Incantevole
Posto incantevole, sia la casa che lo spazio all'aperto sono perfetti.
Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a cavallo di capodanno (quattro adulti e tre bambini) in pace e tranquillità. Non abbiamo incontrato Elisabeth personalmente ma tutto è andato benissimo. Ottima anche la posizione, a pochi minuti dal mare e vicino a Scicli Ragusa, modica, Noto.. Sicuramente da consigliare. Torneremo!
Wunderschönes Haus in entspannter Umgebung
Wir waren vom 03. bis 25. OKTOBER 2014 in diesem wirklich sehr geschmackvoll und dabei puristisch eingerichteten Haus in Sampieri und können unseren Vormietern nur beipflichten. Die Küche war gut für meinen Meisterkoch ausgestattet, ein gutes Kochmesser haben wir allerdings vorsichtshalber immer im Gepäck. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Elizabeth ist eine fürsorgliche und geduldige Gastgeberin, die auch meine Panik bei einem Stromausfall aufgrund eines Unwetters, wie ich es noch nie erlebt hatte, mit freundlicher Gelassnheit gemeistert hat. Und Betty ist die gute Seele, die dafür sorgt, dass alles blitzblank sauber ist und man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Leute in Sampieri und den Nachbarorten sind wie fast überall auf Sizilien entgegenkommen und warmherzig und freuen sich über mein bißchen holpriges Italienisch. Liebe Grüße von Astrid und Thomas, die gerne noch mal als Gäste wiederkommen!
wunderschönes Steinhaus - beautiful house
Das schöne Steinhaus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen mit phantastischem Ausblick über den großen Garten in der Ferne auf das Meer. Innen ist es außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ebenso fehlt es in der Ausstattung (Küche, Bad, etc.) an nichts. Innen ist es sehr geräumig und lädt ebenso zum Verweilen ein wie außen mit mehreren Terrassen um die schön Pinie. Kinder können wunderbar umher laufen und Haus und Garten erkunden. Der nächst gelegene Strand in Sampieri ist in 10 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen und sehr schön (feinster Sandstrand, angenehm flach für kleinere Kinder). Der nächst gelegene größere Fischerort Pozallo bietet gute Einkaufsmöglickeiten und ist nett zum Ausgehen wie für Restaurants. Touren in diesem Teil Siziliens können von diesem Standort sehr gut unternommen werden (Modica, Ragusa, Noto, Syracusa, Agrigento, Etna, Catania). Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat eine sehr nette Kontaktperson vor Ort.
Alles in allem - sehr zu empfehlen!
The beautiful stone house is situated quite nicely and has a fantastic view over the garden to the sea. It is absolutely quiet. It is beautifully furnished, spatious and very well equipped. It is nice to stay inside as well outside with several terraces around the beautiful pine tree. For children it is wonderful to run around and to explore the house and the garden. The next beach is Sampieri, to be reached within 10 min. by car. It has a wonderful beach of sand with a shallow slope (great for small children!). The next smaller little town is Pozallo, good for supermarket, food and shopping, nice restaurants. The location of the house is convenient for touristic explorations in this part from Sicily (Modica, Ragusa, Noto, Syracusa, Agrigento, Etna, Catania). The owner is quite nice and has a very nice contact person as local stand-in.
To be short: very highly recommended!
