About Gayle Clarke
Hello, Welcome to THE LYTTLE HOUSE. We Live on the Mainland in Bedfordshire, Pretty in its self but not a patch on The Isle Of Wight. Barry grew up in Co.Cavan, Ireland, another beautiful part of the world, and I (Gayle) in dear old Bedfordshire. We have wonderful neighbors Dot and Eddie who are very kind and look after The Lyttle House for us. They live on the Island and are a mine of information if you need any tips on where to go and where this is or that is. if you read our feed back nearly every one mentions our lovely neighbours.
Gayle Clarke purchased this Bungalow in 2006
Why Gayle Clarke chose Freshwater
My brother moved to the Isle of Wight, we had lots of lovely holidays on the Island. Then thinking of buying a house boat, my brother suggested Brambles Chine, We came up to just have a look, nothing more. just look......... Well 9 or 10 years on you know what happened, so pleased the look turned out to be a buy. Now hoping we will retire to the Island one day.
What makes this Bungalow unique
We are so lucky 3 minutes from the lovely beach, So many lovely walks. There is a field approx 100 yards away and I love nothing more than to sit and eat my breakfast watching the cows munching theirs. I love an evening walk down by the beach to colwell bay, with a glass of wine in my hand and to watch the the gentle waves on the beach, Maybe a meal of Spare ribs , (We can really recommend them) Well its just so lovely you cannot describe it, Come on Over and see for yourself. if you cannot find the dates you need please contact us, We always try to accommodate our guests. I can do Bookings up to Nov, and then again for Xmas and New year, Then again from Feb on wards. Thank you for taking the time to look at our Lyttle House. Gayle and Barry Lyttle. (now you know why its called the Lyttle House)

Clean and quiet bungalow near the sea
Modern bungalow very convenient to Yarmouth ferry port, and the 'Needles. All facilities, warm, good beds, large open grounds ideal for young ones, but very poor 1/4 mile potholed access road, My first visit to this charming island. Carisbrook Castle well worth the trip.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, yes we are very lucky to have the beautiful views so close to us, and such a lovely island, pleased you enjoyed your time in the bungalow, The weather this year played havoc with the access road, plans are in place for it to be resurfaced. A trip round Osborne House is recommended for your next trip to the island.
We had a lovely stay. The cottage was small but very well laid out we were 4 adults and there was plenty of room for us. It was very clean, peaceful and the views were beautiful. The only downside was that it was not pet friendly nevertheless we will certainly be paying another visit. Jean & John Fisher

Fully recommended to all, the bungalow is very nicely decorated and has everything you need to make the stay comfortable. The outside diner patio area is also very good for socialising. Very good site close to sea with excellent walks and less than 15mins walk to shops.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us, So pleased you enjoyed your stay, we are so lucky to be so close to the lovely sandy beach, you can walk along the beach , to the next little village, or go the other way and you can head into Yarmouth. There is the little shop near to the office, that sells your daily essentials, like you say Freshwater is approx. 15 min walk. The beach is great for kiddies, and us grown ups too. you will be welcome back anytime,
A lyttle bit of heaven
Just spent a week at the Lyttle House, Lyttle by name but big on comfort. The deco is delightful, the bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped including all the cleaning stuff, dishwasher tablets, plus a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and condiments. The only thing missing was the sunshine, guess the delivery time for that is a lyttle late.
Great place to relax, peaceful and calming, can't wait to come back.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. love how you worked our surname in with your review, We are so lucky that our" LYTTLE HOUSE" is so close to the beach and the lovely country side and green fields, Like you say
