Exquisite. This is THE villa to book.

It would be easy to think thrifty and opt for a rental apartments in Olhos d'Agua however we urge you to pay a little more and book this exception villa that has the BEST views of the entire area.

We'd never booked direct with an owner before so were a little nervous however you can book with total confidence as the owners are smashing people who will ensure your entire stay is glorious.

We were drawn by the large private sun terrace and pool and this was the outstanding feature for us. You aren't overlooked which makes the outdoor living experience a delight and the views are perfect. We sat out with a beer every evening and just stared at the sea, listening to music from the impressive music system - what's not to like!

The free (password secure) WiFi allowed me to address all my essential work emails etc - the connection works best by placing your device on the left of the mantelpiece near the router. Satellite tv has very limited UK however you can screen mirror your mobile onto the Samsung tv and use web apps, YouTube etc.

The villa is outstanding and built on two levels (three if you include the roof terrace) The owners are rightly very proud of this build; their architect is from Marrakech and you immediately notice the elegant influence.

A few minor snags that need attention but honestly, you don't notice them as the open space, comfort and stunning views will take your breathe away every day.

We were met by the owner who has sufficient English to run you through the wifi, induction hob etc; a delightful chap who also attended discretely to the bountiful gardens and pool every other morning (early enough not to intrude but if you have a query, be up for 7.30 am and he's more than happy to help).

There's a glut of storage/hanging space and a programmable electric safe off the main bedroom for your valuables. Shower heat and pressure are fantastic.

Guests leave extras rather than taking them back on the plane(pasta, beers etc) and we reciprocated this as it adds to the welcome experience.

The glass balcony panels ensure you receive an unobstructed view of the cove beach and sea but also is a fantastic wind shield - I literally sizzled for a week in September with temperatures in the 80s every day. This is when we decided that the pool is absolutely the crowning jewel of this gem of a place - who on earth wants a communal pool!

We tried unsuccessfully to book as soon as we returned to the UK but it's a hot property so get in quick!

My stay at Villa Jamelo

We arrived at Villa Jamelo to be warmly greeted by the owner who took us around the villa and showed us all the facilities he then left us to enjoy our holiday time.

The villa is truly beautiful, spacious, very clean and extremely well equipped. Everything you would have in your own home.

When you exit the lounge you begin to appreciate what this villa is all about. There is a veranda, with seating, leading on to a large paved terrace and a beautiful pool. There is total privacy on the terrace yet you have glorious views of the beach and sea below. The pool and terrace were tended to each evening to ensure that they were pristine. Step outside of the villa grounds and you reach the steps down to the beach and the main street of the old village. There you will find several shops, bars and restaurants but don’t worry the veranda at the villa is well screened from any noise by clear glass panels on all sides, so you can still get all the stunning views.

The property profile is accurate but what it cannot convey is the relaxing ambiance and my review will never truly reflect this either. Would I recommend this property? Yes, and without any hesitation.

Dream location, exceptional view

We had an amazing 2 weeks in Villa Jarmelo. Superb location and stunning view over the sea. Near supermarkets within a few minutes away, restaurants, coffee shops. Cars its no needed. Very clean, well equipped and maintained, dominated by a magnificent garden and pool overlooking the sea. Very peaceful and calm. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and would certainly book it again.

Superbe maison face à l'océan avec une piscine sur la terrasse!

Vue magnifique avec proximité de la plage à pieds.

Stationnement aisé

Maison avec jardin d'hiver, suite climatisée avec vue mer depuis la chambe/balcon.

Il s'agit de notre 2ème séjour et nous y retournerons!!
