Villa Dimitra is located in Trapezaki. It is a 10 min walk to the beach and less than 5 min with a car. The villa is only 15 km away from the capitol of the island, Argostoli. It is located in a peaceful area of Trapezaki surrounded with olive trees and fruit trees. There is a beautiful view of Mountain Aenos from the front veranda. The villa has its own private swimming pool, where you go out from either the living room area and/or one of the bedroom veranda. There are many restaurants and mini markets near by.
The villa has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds, ideal for families. The villa is very spacious and perfect for relaxing by the pool and having a great BBQ. There are plenty of things to do and see during your stay.
I would love to keep this villa and location to myself but that would not be fair to the wonderful owners Tasos and Stacey who have this gem of a villa tucked away in a beautiful spot. A truly great couple.
It has to be one of the best holidays my wife and I have had on Kefalonia - we came away refreshed and relaxed.
The only downside is that we wished we had booked for longer and could book again for later this year but sadly there are many other people who have discovered this lovely villa.
Thank you again Stacey and Tasos.
We had a great welcome and we're driven to the house which was quite welcome as it was about 5 or 6 miles from the airport.
It was just the two of us so we were spoilt for space but it would have easily suited four people. The house had everything we needed but the real pleasure is to pool and the back patio. We were unlucky enough to be in kephalonia at a time when there were hundreds of wasps everywhere! Quite a pain when we tried eating outside during the daylight. We stopped doing so very early on and only ate out after dark. The beaches were tricky too with annoying wasps everywhere so our pool was our saviour and we spent many relaxing hours there with minimal wasp action.
The hire car was great and gave full access to this varied and interesting island. Fiscardo was our favourite place though a pretty long drive in the heat. Thank heavens for air con!
It's quite an anglicised island which is a mixed blessing. Too many Brits for us to be honest...no offence, we are British but it was too geared towards Brits. Still we agreed quite a lot with trip advisor on many of the restaurants especially the Olive Lounge where we had to book to fe sure of a table but it was exceptional in all departments.
We loved this holiday and the hosts were great. We highly recommend this lovely house.
we had lovely holiday in this very nice villa,It was spotlessly clean and spacious.Tassos and Stacey were kind and wonderful hosts, and any problems we had was dealt with immediately.
Trapezaki is a very quiet resort, and you need a car, good spot for site seeing. The olive tree restaurant was lovely, always busy so we booked in advance the nights we wanted
All in all a lovely relaxing time ,thanks tassos and Stacey
What a fantastic villa, absolutely wonderful!
The villa is lovely and in a fantastic setting, views of the mountains from one side and views of the sea from the other, amazing!
The pool is great and my 5 year old couldn't stay out of it, he had a great time.
Tasos and Stacey are wonderful, very friendly and very helpful.
Kefalonia itself is a lovely island with so many things to see and do, the beaches are perfect, if you like peace and quiet then Trapezaki beach is the one to go to.
The tavernas are good and have a good variety of food and drink and of course Greek food is lovely.
We had a great holiday, the perfect villa, the perfect island and the perfect hosts made it an unforgettable 2 weeks.
We will definitely be going again and I really cannot wait!
Crystal clear waters, great food, fantastic hospitality and the friendliness of the Kefalonian people made it all wonderful.
Thank Stacey and Tasos, it was amazing!
Myself and three friends stayed at this lovely villa, we didn't want to come home but I also couldn't wait to return and write a review!
The hospitality from the owners (Tasos & Stacey) was second to none!
After being collected from the airport and driven to the villa we arrived to a lovely welcome pack of everything and more needed for your first day; fresh eggs, bread, milk, juice, tea etc. and the owners father's homemade olive oil!!
The villa was exactly as the pictures depicted it...beautiful with views of the mountains and sea, a great terrace that easily seats six and a fab traditional BBQ.
The village Trapezaki is a quiet location, just what we wanted but still walking distance from a couple of tavernas, mini market and the next door village Lordata. I would suggest a car as you can travel the island and this villa is in a great location to do just that.
The island itself is so green and covered in lovely wild flowers and thyme, with lovely beaches surrounded by pine trees...
Again, a wonderful villa, lovely owners and will definitely return again!
