About the property

Floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with garden, in the Rias Baixas.

Apartment on the ground floor of 85 m2. In the photo section you have a plan that will help you understand the distribution. The orientation is Northwest. It has an exterior entrance that gives total independence from the rest of the house, which overlooks the garden. With two rooms, the first with a bed of 135 cm and the second with two beds of 90 cm. It has a fully equipped American style kitchen. Two full bathrooms, the first is located in the double room and the second at the beginning of the hallway leading to the rooms. An American dining room with a TV, with dining table and armchairs for four people, joined on the open floor to the fully equipped kitchen. At the exit of the house has a private porch with a table and chairs.

The outdoor areas within the farm: The garden, garden, playground, barbecue and parking are common areas, community.

My name is Maria and the biggest feature of my accommodation is the personalized treatment and the detailed information of all the questions concerning the house and the area in which I live. The profile of those who visit me is that of a family with or without children who wish to spend a few days of rest, in a natural environment without complications, visiting new places and enjoying the gastronomy and the climate of the Rias Baixas. I live very close and I go every day for the maintenance of gardens and equipment, being at all times at your disposal to help and advise you as much as possible, whenever required, always respecting your privacy. The house is governed by a series of rules that make coexistence pleasant for all.

It is a house in the countryside, completely fenced, in the rural, surrounded by villas and single-family houses, the nearest town is 900 m. with all services: banks, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy, small shops, gas station etc. The nearest beach is La Lanzada Beach at 2400 m. (5 minutes by car), two km of fine sand, cataloged with blue flag, equipped with ample parking. Good access to the highway Salnés AG-4. 1 (to 5 Km.) And highway A-9 (to 10 Km).

When I receive travelers, I give them information, brochures and maps of all the places they can visit in the area. In this web I show you some information because I think it is a good idea that you can start to know the area.

The towns of Sanxenxo, Portonovo, El Grove, LaToja, San Vicente del Mar and Cambados are within a radius of 6 or 8 km. At 80 km by highway is Vigo and Santiago de Compostela, and 100 km the border with Portugal. On the coast you can visit the islands Cies, Ons, and Arosa.

It is a flat in a house located in the countryside, this remote city, its hustle and bustle. The sounds you can hear are typical of these zones: birds, a dog, kids playing, church bell, a farmer in his tasks. All are typical of Galician rural areas, which in the summer is increased with the celebrations of the small villages, always religious in honor of his employer or dining, with local seafood and orchard. It has two spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and a bathroom for each. And then a living room. Family hoilday

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks in July.My husband 2 children and I .The apartment on arrival was perfect.The apartment was very clean and had everything we required.It was the cleanest hoilday house we have ever rented!.The apartment had a beautiful garden with fruit tress and lots of space for the children to play.The weather was beautiful.Beaches were 5 minutes by car beautiful beach safe,clean and most days were not that busy.We had lovely meals,fresh fish ,wine ,salads and pizza when the kids would not eat the "pulpo".The restaurant Casieros was 10 minute walk from the apartment.Maria was so kind .Maria was always available if we required anything.It was a perfect hoilday.We would highly recommend this apartment.It was excellent

Great Holiday

Maria, the apartment owner, spoke good English and was most welcoming and helpful, she visited each morning to check if we needed anything. The apartment was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed for our stay, adequate space for a family or two couples as there were two bathrooms. The garden and outside area were well kept and very restful with the advantage of being able to pick fruit from the trees. The local area had wonderful beaches a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Muy buen!

Mi esposa y yo descansamos en la casa de Maria durante 2 semanas. Quiero desir que nosotros pasamos buen rato. Maria y Juan es una pareja que siempre esta dispuesta a ayudar y siempre esta de buen humor.

El lugar donde esta la casa es tranquilo y los vesinos son agradables. La casa es muy comoda y luminosa , ademas hay un gardin maravilloso. La casa esta muy cerca del mar y O Grove.

Nos sentimos como en familia. Quieremos recomendar la casa de todos nuestros amigos y tenemos muchas ganas volver de nuevo.

Relaxing and tranquil stay in the countryside

We were very impressed with what we read on the Home Away website about Maria and Juan's property. When we arrived the property fully lived up to our expectations. There was plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, hall and sitting room. Outside the sitting room there was a very large balcony. We ate our breakfasts and dinners there. That gave us such a good feeling! We ate out only twice, once in Santiago, once in Pontevedras.

Our apartment was clean and well maintained. Maria would come over every morning to see if we were ok. This was a good opportunity to ask any questions that we had. Maria's husband Juan and her daughter would also come over from time to time. The owners provided wonderfui customer service. On a couple of days we had put out some washing and it came on to rain after we left. Maria took the washing inside. That was very kind.

Galicia was an unknown area to us and is little known in the United Kingdom. We found that there was an enormous amount to do. There are very many beaches, and old historic towns in easy driving distance. The motorways seemed empty. We particularly enjoyed a trip to Tui down near the Portuguese border and we enjoyed Santiago and also Bayona. We found we could drive in many directions and come across something interesting.

For food and household shopping there is a large Carrefour supermarket less than a mile away. We found most of what we needed for breakfast, lunch (we made picnics) and dinner. There is no need to go into Sanxenxo. There are far more interesting and less crowded seaside resorts nearby, We walked to Vilalonga which is the nearest town. There are shops there but it not a place that sees many tourists..

Maria had very helpfully provided a list of places to visit, and of activities. We like history, culture, countryside, and art, We found many opportunities to visit places where we could see these. There were no music concerts we could go to. We would have been particularly interested in hearing Galician Celtic folk music.

We would recommend the property to friends. It was a great holiday. Maria, Juan and their daughter were wonderfully helpful. They were caring and friendly.

Piso tranquilo y comodo

Todo era muy bueno. El piso está en una zona muy tranquilo y cerca de muchos lugares turisticos. Es muy comodo y tiene todo lo necesario. Maria y Juan nos trataron muy bien. Espero volver el año que viene.

Férias relaxadas e acolhedoras

A casa está muito bem situada, perto dos principais locais de Sanxenxo; é uma casa simples e prática, equipada com tudo o que é necessário. Para além disso, a casa estava impecavelmente limpa. A Maria foi sempre super simpática e acolhedora, explicou todo o funcionamento das instalações, bem como dos locais mais atractivos em Sanxenxo. É uma pessoa encantadora e sempre preocupada com o bem estar dos hóspedes. Recomendo.
