This is a truly special space ideally suited for relaxation while still living in the heart of Victoria. The space is well over 535 square feet, and is much larger than the 'micro' type studios and includes underground secured parking in the rental fee.
There are floor-to-ceiling windows that open up and look out onto a beautiful, peacefully private 150 square foot patio with wonderful plantings. The patio has a large sitting area with two outdoor couches, a heater, a large barbeque grill and an umbrella for shade. Parking is included in the rental.
The orientation of the condo and the patio brings a quiet and peacefulness that you may have not experienced in most other downtown condos. The patio faces inward and not toward the street, adding to your privacy and quiet in this space. No other windows face the space, so it truly is your own little oasis in the city.
There is a top-of-the-line Murphy Bed, the entire space is usable during the daytime, without a bedroom taking up a large portion of it. When the bed is 'up', the space is large and 100% usable, with a dining table and chairs for four, two barstools for the kitchen bar, a full size convertible sofa bed with a high back for sitting comfort, along with two very comfortable sofa chairs, one of which is a stressless recliner. When you are ready for sleep, you simply pull the bed down and go to sleep, a process that takes about thirty seconds! The bedding stays on the bed when it is up or down, making it fairly effortless to transition to the nighttime.
The kitchen is well stocked with good cookware and utensils as well as basic ingredients to start you off, and it has all stainless steel appliances and good counter space. There is a stacked washer dryer for your laundry as well as plenty of closet space.
Fragrence-free laundry and dish detergents only and our linens, towels, blankets and quilts are all 100% cotton.
The condo is located on Cormorant Street, which is one of the few downtown streets with limited traffic. It is a small street between Fisgard and Pandora which is not a main street, so traffic is minimal. There are office buildings and condos located on this streeet, so that nightime noise is minimal. A one half block walk either direction, however, will lead you to city action: the Victoria Public Market is one block away, and many very good restaurants are on both cross streets, with Victoria City Hall and its vibrant plaza with many annual events just a 2 minute walk from the condo!
You will like the peacefulness of this unit, especially on the nights when you keep the windows open!
