** About Our Condo***
Aloha and thank you, for checking out our recently renovated condo (Unit 1630 on the 16th Floor) in the heart of Waikiki. A complete kitchen remake in 2016! This is in addition to our major 2014 remodeling includes new hardwood flooring, new closet system, and wall separating the living room and bedroom. We’ve stayed at many other wonderful rental vacation homes and want to make sure your Hawaii experience is just as wonderful or more!
Our modern condo is about 620 sq ft in size (including balcony/lanai which is about 120 sq ft) and can accommodate up to 4 adults. We have a comfy cal king size bed with 500 count Egyptian cotton sheets in the bedroom and a full size sofa bed in the living room. (Baby crib and stroller are complimentary and available upon request.) The bedroom is separated from the living room by a solid wall and a curtain on each side of the wall (for ease of access to the bathroom and balcony). For privacy, the full-size sofa bed is situated directly behind the wall. Pillows, blanket and linen provided for sofa bed. (There is also a portable mattress if the kids prefer their own bed.)
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a granite counter, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, and more.
The bathroom has a granite covered wall shower stall w/ removable shower head. Hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and 100% Egyptian cotton towels are provided.
The lanai (balcony) has a nice dining table w/ 4 chairs to view the ocean and fireworks while dining. There are also 2 beach chairs, a portable cooler and 4 beach towels provided for our guests.
The condo also includes all the smaller finer things that will make your stay a complete comfort like a 40” LCD flat screen TV in the living room, cable TV, DVD/blue-ray player, free WIFI hi-speed internet, extra towels, pillows, linen, blanket, and of course, air conditioning and ceiling fan. Laundry facility is just down the hallway. And one of the best features is that our unit is located on the cool side of the hotel AND has a direct view of the ocean and Friday night fireworks from the beach!
There is parking on the streets and valet parking. Street parking is directly behind the building. On one side next to the lagoon is free parking from 4:30am to 10:30pm. On the other side is a large lot with price ranging from $1/hr to $6 for 10hrs. Valet service for a 24hr period is about $30 with unlimited in and out privileges.
This is a 4.5 star room w/ much more to offer than nearby hotels like the Hilton or Ilikai Marina with rooms 1/2 our size.

***About The Ilikai***
When you watch the classic Hawaii Five-O TV show, there’s a shot of Jack Lord on a balcony of a hotel. Yup, you guess right. It’s the Ilikai! And instantly, the Ilikai became a landmark in the heart of Waikiki. This lady has been around since the 60’s but has been kept up very well with a recent renovated lobby, earthly toned hallways, and a clean line swimming pool with towel service. Definitely a 4.5 star rated hotel. There are also various shops on the ground floor, a romantic Italian restaurant on the top floor, and across the lobby is the internationally renowned Iron Chef Morimoto’s Japanese fusion restaurant.

Phi is president of an IT consulting firm and Shinomi is a medical doctor. We've lived in the US, Asia and Europe and have enjoyed all the places and friends we've met along the way. Hopefully, we can return the favor to all our future guests. Both of us are multilingual, and though not 100% fluent, will try our best for our international guests. Currently, we reside on the same island of Oahu and look forward to make your experience a pleasurable one.

To have a place for our friends and families to visit us. We want all our guests to get the best Waikiki experience, so what better than a beach front location with all the essential amenities and at a great price. It doesn't get much better than the famous Ilikai Hotel.
Luxury, Beach/Ocean front/view at a great price! AND we're located on the cool side of the building facing the Hilton beachfront.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed and phi is great to communicate with and the condo is great and is everything we need for a stay in beautiful oahu. Were a family of 4 and the condo is great location for anyone traviling there. Pink line bus at the hotel entrance overlooking hilton village and lagoon and the beach. Close to alamoan park and the ala moana shopping centre.
My wife, 2 kids (almost 3 and 8 months) and I stayed here at the end of February 2017. The condo was exactly as the pictures show it (if not nicer). It's in a great spot in Waikiki with tons to do around it. The kids were highly entertained the entire time and the view of the fireworks was a real treat. Phi was also extremely responsive and very helpful both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this condo and would stay here again for sure if we come to Waikiki again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Condo was very clean and homely, near the beach, restaurants, shopping centres and parks. Once a year we would drive from Vancouver Canada to Seattle to eat at the "Red Lobster" and here was one right at the Hotels doorstop.
wonderful - easy access to the beach and downtown
Let me start off by saying that the owners (Phi & Shinomi) were very helpful before my trip there started. They answer all my questions (mostly general touristy) and it made the trip that much better.
Once we got their place, we were was all smiles because of the views. There was plenty of room for us (family of 3). The place was stocked with all the essentials (bathroom and kitchen), and we were actually surprised to see plenty of beach stuff as well (an abundance of beach towels, etc.)!
During the day it was peaceful, and at night, it was just calm and beautiful. It just did not seem like you were in the middle of everything, for such a densely populated tourist area, but you were literally in the middle of Waikiki. The location was close to practically everything.
The bonus treat is seeing all the Luau's and shows from the balcony!
I would definitely go back here and use Phi and Shinomi's place again in the future!
Condo was just as advertised. Very nicely decorated with extra conveniences. Location within walking distance of restaurants, shopping,etc. Also on trolley and bus route. Convenient shops on ground floor. Very pleased with this rental.
