LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...........
We are located in the most prestigious section of San Francisco. Around the corner is some of the best shopping and finest restaurants in the city. San Francisco's best attractions are a short 5-10 minute drive. Public transportation is also very convenient.
We bought this property to be close to our children and grandchildren who live in San Francisco. We currently live in New York City close to our other children and grandchildren. We'll be bicoastal grandparents in 2 of the most exciting cities in the USA
Cathy Cabrera purchased this apartment in 2013
LOCATION of the home was our biggest reason to buy this beautiful Victorian home which was built in 1905. It has been remodeled and updated to include everything you would expect in a 5 star property. We love the indoor-outdoor living was also a big draw for us
The home has been recently updated and furnished by well know architect.
Enjoy staying in the old world charm of this San Francisco home which is located in the heart of everything SF is known for. You will, 'Leave your heart' here for sure.
This home is lovely, comfortable, quiet and in a great location. My sons (21 and 24 ) sleep later than me and it was great to be in a neighborhood to stroll and have coffee in am. I easily parked our car but be careful of street cleaning signs. Owner's information sheet was very helpful and excellent.
This home is located in Pacific Heights area and is a short walk to a lot of nice restaurants and shopping. The home was nicely furnished and in immaculate condition. The beds were comfortable and everything worked as described. Cathy was responsive and even accommodated us with an earlier check in. I would highly recommend this rental for people who want to stay comfortably in a great location in the city.
We stayed three nights in this lovely flat. It is indeed located in one of the top neighborhoods of San Francico, a few blocks from the prestigious Fairmont Hotel where one can enjoy high quality drinks. The place is also served by several zagat rated restaurants and bars plus a very close by supermarket with amazing cheeses. The house is very clean and the furniture is stylish, mostly from the reknowned Restoration Hardware Store. I loved the shower, being European style, and with plenty of hot water for us to relax after a touring and hill hiking day. The other touristic factor that makes this house a treat is the proximity to both the romantic SF trolley and the curious Japan Town where we ate very fresh sushi and sashimi.
The famous ice cream place, 'Smitten', is one block away and you must not miss savoring a freshly made ice cream right in front of you. For lovers of the french patisserie, there is a Boulangerie close by where we had croissants, pain au chocolat with hazelnut filling and tasty soups. In the late evenings we would have wine and cheese in a cozy and perfectly equipped kitchen or siting on the portico outside ( also very well decorated with comfortable armchairs, outdoor carpet and an old style mirror) bathed by the moonlight. Oh! In case you are a TV or video lover, there is a TV in each room with more than 700 movies to pick from, for free.
Have a great trip!
The place is fantastic as soon as you walk in the door. Great location, great layout, beautifully designed. The place was very clean, I felt like I was at home. Cathy provided excellent service and great information. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting San Fran!
Stayed six night with our two adult children. Flat was very comfortable, nicely furnished, in a great location and exactly as advertised. Owner was well organized and made everything easy. Would definitely stay there again.
My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay here last month. The beautiful pictures on the website exactly portray the elegance and beauty of this home. The furnishings are wonderful and comfortable, and the kitchen is a dream to work in. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning with our coffee and breakfast! There is a great market (Mollie Stone's) within easy walking distance so it was easy to stock up for meals. The house is in a great location for accessing all that San Francisco has to offer, and lots of good restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We used Uber a few times around town and drove our own car to destinations such as Muir Woods. The owner was very easy to work with and very concerned that our stay be perfect. She provided a lot of information and made it all just so easy. Even though she lives in New York, we were very well provided for. I would highly, highly recommend this property! One caveat: Pay attention to the street cleaning signs on Bush Street (and they are different for each side of the street). We did get a ticket for parking on a street cleaning day. Oh well.....small hitch in an otherwise wonderful stay!

Parking in San Francisco is tricky. If you are renting a car I suggest renting a small car. Taxies are great for getting around, much like NYC and you don't have the hassle and expense of parking a car. There is a Zip Car located 2 blocks from the home if you want to explore outside San Francisco.
