Walking distance to Diamond Peak Ski Resort and a short 5 minute drive to the lake and the best beaches Lake Tahoe has to offer, this home will make you feel as though you have just flew across the world and landed in the Swiss Alps. The style of this home mirrors the traditional building designs found in the alpines of Europe, characterized by widely projecting roofs and facades richly decorated with wooden balconies and carved ornaments. This 3 bedroom home has an inverted floor plan with remarkable views of the lake from almost every room. The entry level includes three bedrooms that all open onto a deck. The master bedroom offers an en suite bathroom with a single person jacuzzi tub to be enjoyed after a long day full of adventures or relaxation. On the top floor you will find a large open living/kitchen/dining area with wood stove, high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, large windows, and access to the decks around the cabin. There is also a pull out sofa bed where you can fall asleep while watching the sunset or be awoken by the rising sun over the mountains in the morning. Enjoy the wood-burning stove during those chilly nights of Winter or open the sliding doors to allow the fresh Tahoe breeze flow through the home during the warmer days of Summer. Enjoy the pool and tennis courts located just down the street! This European-style Chalet is located in the heart of Incline Village and is pet friendly! *There are 42 steps from the parking area to the first floor of the house.

Pretty quaint chalet
Lots of stairs and no A/C but it was a nice place to stay. Close to the north end beaches and village. Quiet and plenty of accommodations. If you love a throw back style this is the place for you
Thank you so much for this great review! We really appreciate it and look forward to hosting you again.
Don’t stay here if you want to use the beach
This house is managed by RentLever, an agency in the Bay Area. If you have any issues you have to call, be placed on hold and then explain your issue to a person who knows nothing about the house. They will then say they will call back. When they don’t and you call again you have to repeat everything to a new person. When we got there the electricity did not work in the downstairs and we couldn’t find the electrical box. They were not helpful. By the next day I finally spoke with someone who was able to tell me where it was. Outside on a steep hill. I fixed the problem myself.
I have stayed in Incline every summer for 9 years. Every single other time we were given a pass for beach access. I didn’t realize that it was even possible that we would not be able to go to the Incline beach. That sort of ruined the point of staying in Incline. The house has very old, very weird decor. The appliances were all very old. The king bed in the master must have had very large people using it for a long time. It dipped severely in each side. I am very small so it was comfortable for me. My husband was really uncomfortable. It was clean enough. Would NOT recommend
