Overview

About the property

A little bit of Old Florida at its finest.

The very first thing that you will notice about the property is its unmistakable curb appeal. It is a historical property with all of the architectural charm that one expects of a classic, early Jupiter pioneer residence. The Cottage is next to the owner's historic home and enjoys an "Old Florida" setting nestled among the oaks draped in Spanish moss.

From the moment you enter the property, you know that this will be a special vacation. Continuing around the house to the water you will see the charming white picket fence and colorful plantings. They lead the way to a spacious front deck that is the perfect place to sit and bird watch, admire the boats, or those practicing yoga on a paddle board, or kayakers. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening night cap.

When you enter inside, you will be amazed by the large, solid heart-pine timbers that have been left observable in the architectural beam ceiling. Special care has been taken to accommodate a living, eating, and sleeping layout that is ample for one or two guests. This smart, open floor plan with private bathroom is a clever use of space utilizing a wall bed unit. Just pull down and sleep! The comfortable queen-sized bed is a real space saver that easily converts living area into a bedroom.

Studio cottage is 350 square feet in size, with it’s own enchanting little white picket fence defining your own private outside area. You can have it all! This property offers the best location with the ocean’s trade winds and a panoramic view of the Jupiter River, architectural charm, captivating interior space, and relaxing, peaceful outdoor space and dock!

The fully equipped kitchenette is extremely well-equipped with all utensils, plates, cookware, coffeemaker, and microwave - everything you could possibly need! Stack washer and dryer are in the cottage.

Just bring your suitcase and casual wear…No formal anything-- every place is casual. FYI-- Flip flops, tank tops, and baggy shorts are also known as business casual!!!

Given the location of the property, on the Jupiter River (old Intracoastal Waterway), almost everything to make your vacation pleasant is only steps away.

Located in the heart of the Inlet Village, this studio cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy the sites and sounds of historic Jupiter. Imagine sitting on the dock in the evening to watch a beautiful Florida sunset or take a quiet walk down to the Inlet and see the afternoon sun reflect on our famous red Lighthouse. Enjoy the excitement of the tropical evening night life, just minutes’ walk to a variety of great restaurants and bars with live music. Or enjoy delightful early bird evening menus if you are not a night owl.

For only 1 guest, please check out listing for Tiny Diggs at the same location in Jupiter, VRBO #763586.

Clean with all the amenities you could want

  • 5 of 5

Don’t be fooled by the short gravel driveway to the oasis which is at the end of the road. She has thought of everything you could want. Plus! You are in the heart of Jupiter. A short walk to the ocean and just a few steps from a relaxing dock on a intercostal river. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Or you can comfortably eat in with a complete kitchen. We will definitely stay there again if we ever make a return trip to see the Cardinals Spring Training games.

Tranquil beauty

  • 5 of 5

This was our third consecutive stay at Anna's cottage. She is a gracious, welcoming, helpful host. We enjoyed every meal at the outdoor table overlooking the Loxahatchee River where kayackers, herons, pelicans and paddle boarders pass by. The sun sets over the water and is amazing. The cottage is located minutes away from bike trails, parks, nature preserves, shopping and an awesome dog beach. Buddy, our standard poodle can't say enough about it. The living space is small but charming and incredibly well organized. Though the setting is lovely and peaceful there is loud music from Guanabanas restaurant Thursday through Saturday which is approximately 1/4 mile down the river. Route A1A is quite busy but these things do not detract from the overall wonderful experience of staying at Anna's cottage. Anna made us feel at home and we think of her as family.

Anna is a gracious host. She even had flowers out on the counter for us. Her small place is thoughtfully designed - and worked well for us.

Charming Jupiter guest cottage overlooking the river.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Jupiter Guest Cottage. Very comfortable and cozy, and the owner, Anna and her manager, Yvonne, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Queen size bed was great and cottage has everything you could need. Location is great, within easy walk of the Jupiter Inlet and the beach, also many good restaurants. We hope to be back next year!

Old school cabin

  • 4 of 5

Just an old school cabin without a lobby, elevator, walking across a parking lot or bumping into people. If you don't like simple pleasures don't stay here
