Available for rentals beginning October 5th, 2013! 3BR/2.5BA Newly decorated and built modern rustic loft in coveted 78704. This is the place to be in Austin to soak up all of the personality you're coming here to experience.
Walk to South Congress or South First St. Continental Club for nightly music is about a 10 minute walk. The famous burger joint 'Hopdoddy' and seafood gem 'Perla's' are across the street from the Continental Club. South Congress Café is also on the same block. For a high-end farm to table experience, Olivia is also walking distance.
Zilker park is probably a 35 minute walk, though you could bike it in about 10 mins. Bike rentals are super easy in Austin and I have some free passes I can hook you up with at Bicycle Sport Shop.
In addition to the house, I'd be glad to make all the recommendations for music, recreation, restaurants, activities, and sights to see in Austin.
About the house, I had this place professionally decorated with my taste for rustic and modern amenities. Restoration Hardware couch and leather chair, antique wooden table, 70' Flatscreen with Apple TV (you can Login and rent whatever you want under your account). High Speed (50Mbps) internet, 2 car garage (I will give you remote garage door opener), Nest thermostat, non-flame retardant mattresses (Master is a King Savvy Rest latex, 2nd bedroom is a soy based, therefore natural, memory foam), Phillips Hue lighting system, ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living room, granite countertops in my 'chefs' kitchen (I love to cook), all stainless steel appliances, 4th floor balcony accessed via spiral staircase that overlooks South Austin, each bedroom has its own private bathroom and a private balcony. Deep soaker tub in the 2nd bedroom, and a large 2 person 2 shower head walk-in shower in the master bath. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. I have spared no expense in this place and I welcome you to enjoy what I have created.
Not only is the house itself a great find, you'll find the location perfect as well. Its minutes drive from everything and you can walk to most things south of the river. With a bike, you can get where you want without having to worry about parking. It is 15 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom Airport. Whole Foods is a 10 minute bike-ride. Town Lake (Lady-Bird Lake) is 10 minutes by bike, 25 on foot.
It is ideally located to access anything in the city and is very close to the airport, the F1 track and access to every type of shopping. There are few rentals in all of Austin that combine the high-end amenities with the city location and easy access.
The condo is very quiet, was just finished 2 months ago, so the construction is brand new. There is also a pool accessed with a code that I can provide for you. Though I would suggest Barton Springs if you're inclined to take a dip. Its one of Austin's truly must-see adventures.
2 car garage is on the first floor. Main living, dining, kitchen...all open, on the 2nd floor. 2 bedrooms, and laundry room on the 3rd floor. 4th floor is the balcony overlooking South Austin.
I recently moved to Austin and have fallen in love with the town. I'm out of town regularly, and would like to offer my place to you. I've spared no expense on the furnishings, love technology to keep it efficient and useful (Nest thermostat, Philips Hue lighting), and keep it very clean (cleaned professionally each week).
I'm very quick to respond via email, text, and phone and want to make sure this feels like your home away from home.

I love South Austin and the personality that comes with it. There is great food here, great bars. The Saxon Pub, Continental Club, Antones, Threadgills...they are all within 5 minutes drive and most times I will either walk or ride my bike. The famous Lick Ice Cream is only minutes away.
All of this, and I also have new construction and a 2 car garage in a tucked away little condo complex down a quiet street. I'm so lucky to have this place and I'm glad to share it with you.
Austin is a great town, but when I first came here, it took awhile for me to figure the ins and outs of the place. I can help you find the must eat restaurants, the must-see sights and activities, and give you insider tips on things to do and see.
Also, if I'm in town, I'd be glad to pick you up from the airport. And for Formula 1, I will drop you off at the airport so you can take you helicopter ride to the track each day.
Billy's town house was everything we needed for the weekend. Clean, comfortable, stylish, and a great location.

The location and photos drew us to requesting a stay at this condo and Billy was very helpful throughout the early stages of the process. As you can read, the condo has a lot to offer both in itself and outside of its doors. Upon arriving, we realized that the place exceeded our already high expectations. It's done in tasteful fashion and is clean as can be. The bedrooms, the living area, the kitchen and the bathrooms are all taken care of so well and not a detail has gone missing. That's the truth. The condo has a luxurious yet cozy feel and has all the things you need for a great stay in - it's well-connected technologically and has a great sunroof. However you're going to want to get out and see the town and it's located in a fantastic spot.
We spent a weekend in Austin and although we ate out for every meal and caught a few sites, we still feel like we made only a minimal scratch to the city's surface. The condo is a quick walk to dozens of super cool spots for food, music and shopping and if you'll need to catch a taxi or setup an Uber ride, both types of cars get to the property within 5-7 minutes. One of us rented a car and the 2-car garage was great for that, too, although we didn't take the rental car out except for arriving from and heading back to the airport (~15 mins).
Billy was accommodating and readily accessible whenever we (a group of 5) had a question. In truth, the check-in document and the suggestions he sends over are much more useful than any guide you'd get at a hotel or a bookstore, at that, so we really didn't have much to ask to begin with. But, he's always there to respond to you via email/text/whatever and makes you feel very welcome. You never feel like you're being hovered over or neglected, either.
I'd say this condo and owner faithfully represent all of the benefits of the sharing economy. If you've never partaken in a homeshare, your experience here will pleasantly convert you. And, if you've done so previously, you'll place your time at Billy's place at the top of your list.

Stayed at the place over Labor Day weekend and would recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Austin. The place itself is great, designed tastefully and technologically compatible with modern devices for everything from music and lighting to the temperature. Billy (Owner) is a great guy who was willing to help with anything we needed large or small and although we didn't require much (the move in guide was very thorough) it was nice knowing that the owner cared about our experience and was willing to help.
Unit is an easy cab/uber ride to downtown and there are plenty of them in the area so you will not have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for one to arrive. There is also food nearby that you could walk/bike to if you were so inclined. We drove down and so we didn't do as much walking but with the two car garage, having a car was not a hassle.
After searching for hours on the site for the best place to rent for the long weekend, I landed on this one based on location, price (including fees), sq. ft., bedrooms, bathrooms and decor I was not disappointed. I doubt anyone would be after walking through the unit, it really is pretty cool. Thanks a lot Billy, I'll be back again!
I can't say enough about how wonderful Billy was before, during, and after our stay. My group came for SXSW and it was a crazy week, but Billy did so much to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He was always available to answer questions, offered up LOADS of local tips (good eats, great drinks, fabulous things to do), and helped us when we were in a bind. Billy went ABOVE AND BEYOND.
So, now onto the space. I am a self-professed germaphobe and clean freak. The townhouse was very well-maintained, cleaned thoroughly, and everything you want or need is well thought out and organized. One of the advantages of this property is that the owner not only takes pride in the place (so obvious from the custom decor and integrated lighting/HVAC controls systems), because it is also a place he calls home. I think that also attracts guests who will respect the space a lot more, unlike other 'for rent by owner' properties at which I have stayed.
Comfort is also key to me, so one of the factors that made me choose this property is that Billy clearly likes to sleep in a nice bed! The open plan living/dining/kitchen was great place for our group to start our day or decompress from a busy SXSW. We also loved taking in a bit of sun on the rooftop terrace. It was also nice to have a double car garage and laundry.
The location was tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance to lots of SOCO restaurants, cafes, and shops. Getting downtown was a bit painful, but that's the nature of SXSW. I am a cyclist, so I found it easy to get out on rides from the townhouse. Billy offered up lots of information on local rides and assisted me with my bike, too. The local shop, Bicycle Sports Shop has fantastic service and rentals, so I highly recommend.
Something to note, too, about any rental property, is that the keypad entry made it so easy for us to come and go without having to worry about people having keys. Made our departure super simple. I wish everyone would do this.

This property is a very well appointed, comfortable, home while on the road. A very comfortable, open concept main floor is an excellent spot to enjoy time together, and with each bedroom having it's own patio, it's easy to have alone time too. The rooftop patio is another great place to socialize or relax in the very quiet neighborhood. This is a very clean, well appointed property that I will be sure to stay at anytime that I am in Austin. An extremely friendly and helpful owner makes the property second to none!
We are a 50-something year-old couple who rung in the New year here with a good friend. We had a four-night stay.
It is so nice to stay in a real home as opposed to a hotel. The condo is close to South Congress, one of our favorite areas of Austin; lots of cafes, coffee shops and shopping in a very boho section of Austin. We were very comfortable. Billy (the owner) has decorated his home beautifully with furniture and décor from Restoration Hardware. We loved settling into the comfy sofa at night to watch movies. The sofa throw is so nice we had to buy one for our own home. As it was cold outside during our stay, we really enjoyed the fireplace. It is so easy – just flip a switch to get instant ambience and heat too!
The master bedroom is equipped with an extremely comfortable king-size tempurpedic mattress… we slept very well. The linens were luxurious! The kitchen has a lot of space and dishware and silverware are readily available.
Billy is a very gracious and kind host. We accidently left two items of clothing behind. Billy sent them to us at no charge. Thank you Billy!
