Cle Elum Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6

**WINTER MONTHS** If there is enough snow on the ground, the community will shut down the roads. Access to the cabin will be via snowmobile or ATV's only. No exceptions!

**Starting in November, AWD or 4WD required.

Spectacular custom cabin with incredible wood work and finishing touches through out. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Sleeps 6. California king bed in upstairs loft with private balcony, 2 twins beds in additional room-can be tied together to make a king bed, and a full size sleeper sofa in living room. Wood burning stove for those cold winter nights. Gas BBQ on the back deck. Amazing views of the valley and Mt. Stuart. Great location for hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling and dirt bikes. Miles of trails out the front yard. Great location, only a short distance to Snoqualmie Pass for Skiing and snowboarding. Beautiful one hour drive to the Bavarian Village in Leavenworth,WA.

Question: If the roads are closed and we don't have an ATV or snowmobile, can we walk to the cabin?

Answer: It's not recommended. The cabin is 1.9 miles mostly uphill. With your luggage and other items, it would be a miserable trek.

Question: Can we rent snowmobiles?

Answer: yes, there are a few companies in Cle Elum that rent snowmobiles. Google "Snowmobile Rentals, Cle Elum, WA"

Question: How far is the cabin from Snoqualmie Pass? Leavenworth? Suncadia? Downtown Cle Elum?

Answer: Snoqualmie Pass is about 30-35 minutes from the cabin. Leavenworth is 45-55 minutes from the cabin. Suncadia is less than 20 minutes from the cabin. Downtown Cle Elum is less than 10 minutes from the cabin.

Question: Does the cabin have WIFI?

Answer: NO

About Shauna Rumel

My name is Shauna Rumel and I'm the owner of the Picnic Point cabin. Thanks for taking a look at my vacation rental. My son loves the sled hill in the winter and enjoys the pool in the summer. We reside in Seattle which is an hour and fifteen minutes from the cabin. We hope you will enjoy the property as much as we do. Again, thanks for looking!

Why Shauna Rumel chose Lake Cle Elum

It's so peaceful at the cabin and the view is breathtaking. A cabinet builder put together the finishing touches on the cabin, making it one of a kind. Most of the furniture is custom made. From the pine tree railings to the tree trunk walls, this cabin has oodles of character. It's home away from home.

What makes this cabin unique

The view, custom wood work, furniture and the décor. Pure serenity!

Great Spot

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the well appointed cabin, the spectacular views, the peace and quiet of this lovely place. Close to nearby Cle Elum and Roslyn with shopping, restaurants and activities. We attended the Salmon Bake at the hatchery, the Croatian Fest, and Roslyn Farmers Markey to name a few. Wild flowers, wild berries, and wild life abound. The cabin had beautifully carved wood trims and moldings. Very cozy. The owner was very attentive to details and to any questions that arose. The site very accurately described this property. I recommend this place to all.

Good cabin for weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and the on-line pictures are accurate representations. Beds and furnishings comfortable and attractive. The kitchen was adequately outfitted for most any cooking needs. The deck (with gas barbecue) is a pleasant place to hang out and enjoy the view over Cle Elum and the mountains to the north. We did not meet the owner, but she made it clear how to contact her if necessary. In short, the house is obviously well cared-for and I have no hesitation recommending it to others.
