This property is located on the eastern corner of the Soulard Proper. It is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of a thriving city neighborhood, but close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars. Street parking is free, and never an issue with only three residential buildings on 8th street, and one is ours. There are ample parking spaces that are free for the residents or guests. Only three blocks from the Soulard Farmers Market, and less then ten minute UBER ride to downtown or the zoo, or any other city feature. One of the top ten neighborhoods in Missouri with it's historical charm and fabulous location. As a real estate agent and an investor, this building has been one of my best investments with the thriving area and historical charm. It's definitely my favorite.

If I had a City Hideaway
I love going in to the city to take advantage of all going on. For a little while. Then I want to be on the edges of burbs in the quiet.
I dream of having an apartment in the city to use on weekends.
This is it.
The brick building on a tree lined street. Enter into a modern apartment for two. There is everything you need inside, but, why not go out to the restaurants, see a pro sports game.
We stayed here on trip from Branson to Great Lakes. It is easy to get to from expressways.
We went to Hammerstone's literally around the corner (google said three minutes). Great food. Live professional music every night, mostly blues.
We found our place to stay on our biannual trips.
Precious flat!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Property was very clean and had all the amenities. Owner was very accommodating.

The property was super cute and exactly what we needed for our stay, even had some snacks for us which was unexpected but nice! We were so close to the Cards stadium which was a added bonus.
We loved the apartment during our stay. It was very nice and a in super location for our time in downtown STL! It was very clean and we enjoyed all the little extras that were provided. We’ve already discussed maybe renting it again sometime when we need a weekend away.

Property has been tastefully and caringly restored. For those, like ourselves, with an aversion to traditional hotel rooms, we would highly recommend the Rustic Farmhouse. Service from owner is outstanding. See you again,

A newly updated and tastefully decorated one bedroom apartment/condo featuring an open floor plan, rustic farmhouse decor and modern amenities in the heart of St. Louis' Soulard Historical District. Prime location with easy access to just about everything the Lou has to offer. This corner location is within walking distance to over 30 restaurants, including our Historic Farmers Market. The property is less than a 10 minute Uber ride to Downtown and other Historical neighborhoods in the area.
