Space to live - enjoy the silence near forests, lakes, rivers.

Charming house with all modern amenities. Fully equipped kitchen. Many possibilities to different sleeping arrangements for up to 11-12 persons. 19th century style dining-room and sitting-room, a separate TV-room and one single bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs: two big bedrooms with 2 beds + 1-2 extra beds in each (sofabeds). Veranda with a wonderful view over garden and parkway.

The house is situated on a farm with other houses, but has a large private garden. The typical Swedish forest is just round the corner and gives possibilities to long walks. You find several hiking trails nearby. The lake is 2 km away and the river Ätran is some 800 m down the hill. The house is perfect for recreation in peace and quiet close to the Swedish nature. For those who want activities there is fishing, canoeing and golf possibilities within a few km. You find tourists' attractions such as the Middle Age manor Torpa Stenhus, Borås and its zoo, museums and shopping, the glass museum in Limmared and the shopping centre Ullared within a distance between 35-60 km away. For winter activities you have 55 km to Isaberg Mountain Resort, the largest ski resort in south Sweden.

Textiles and shopping: The house is centrally situated in a part of Sweden famous for its textile production: in Mark (40 km west) you can buy out-let towels, bed-linen, curtains, table-cloths, carpets and fantastic textiles for your own sewing. In Gällstad (60 km North-East), in Borås (50 km north) and Ullared (40 km South-West) you find Sweden's most famous shopping centres with a variety of shops.

Vi havde lejet dette pragtfulde sted fra 22-29 december 2012 for at holde jul der sammen med vore voksne børn. Huset var stort og rummeligt til os alle 6 + baby + hund. Stedet har "sjæl" og en dejlig stemning med den hyggelige indretning. Der var rent og fint, da vi ankom. Huset var udstyret med alt hvad vi kunne ønske af moderne faciliteter. Der var al den fred og ro vi havde drømt om. Vi var virkelig væk fra hverdagens travlhed og kunne koncentere os om at lave juleforeberedelser, hygge og slappe af sammen. Vi gik lange ture i det pragtfulde område.

Vi fik god hjælp af ejeren med tips om rute, indkøb og seværdigheder.

Vi anbefaler varmt dette sted og kommer nok gerne tilbage engang, det kunne være spændende at opleve huset på andre årstider.

Groß, schön und sauber

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig. Es ist wirklich groß und bietet Platz für 6 - 8 Personen. Es ist sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Sämtliche elektrischen Geräte (in Küche, Wohnzimmer u. Bad) funktionieren einwandfrei.

Die Vermieter, die in Nachbarhäusern wohnen sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Das Rasengrundstück, das zum Haus gehört ist groß, sodass man sich ausruhen und die Kinder noch Platz zum Ballspielen haben. Es gibt im Haus auch Spiele für drinnen u. draußen (Boule, Federball, Kupp).

Zum See läuft man ca 20 Min. durch den Wald. Ein weiterer See ist ca. 15 Min. Fahrzeit entfernt, dieser gehört zur Ortsgemeinde. Beide Seen sind ruhig gelegen.

Im Ort Svenljunga (ca. 20 Min Fahrzeit - für Schweden fast nichts) gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nach Boras ist es nicht weit und auch zur Küste nach Varberg ist es nicht zu weit (ca. 1 Std. Fahrzeit).

Mehrere kleinere Flüsschen laden zum Kanufahren ein.

Hier kann man sich wirklich gut erholen und den Alltag hinter sich lassen!
