About Kay Miller
We both grew up in Oregon, on the coast and in the Williamette Valley. We love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and all of the wonderful recreational activities it provides.
Kay Miller purchased this House in 2011
Why Kay Miller chose Hood River
Living in the Williamette Valley and the heart of Pinot Noir country, we found ourselves too far from Mt. Hood and winter sports. The city of Hood River is the perfect combination of small town atmosphere, fantastic food and beverage options, and amazing proximity to the rivers and mountain.
What makes this House unique
Our house was in need of some love and attention when we found it. It truly was a blank slate. With some hard work and determination we've placed our own unique impression on it, transforming it into a home. One of our favorite things about Hood River is that it is complelely accessible by foot.

Perfect stay in Mt Hood!
The house was clean, attractively decorates. and equipped, and the location was ideal for us since it’s close to town and also to one of the best cafes - “Kickstand” - with addicting breakfast sandwiches and freshly roasted coffee. Thanks, Kay!
Hood River Stay
We had a really nice weekend in Hood River. The property was clean, up to date, quiet, and conveniently located.
A Vacation From our Vacation
This home was perfect for our family of four. It was an easy find from the interstate, and close to a lot of things in town. We walked a lot, which compensated for our less than stellar vacation diet. We could get to a couple cool parks, breakfast places, and the aquatics center was right up the street. It was a great home base for us, as we were home most evenings for the kids earlier bedtimes. It was super comfortable and clean. The Millers did a great job providing amenities and a nice place to stay. Small touches like frosted beer mugs in the freezer do not go unnoticed! We will be back!
Quiet and Relaxing
Easy walking to coffee, restaurants and downtown. This is a clean, nicely decorated and comfortable home.
perfect for our 2 couples!
This 2 bedroom house was the ideal place for a 3 day stay in Hood River during the holidays! The home is extremely well stocked and very clean. Beds and linens nice and comfortable. We loved walking the charming neighborhood with Kickstand bike/coffee house within easy access! Great overall value!!
Clean. Recently remodeled. Near downtown Hood River and conveniently located to restaurants at the southern end of town. We hope to stay again.
There are many great breweries, excellent wineries, tasting rooms and fantastic restaurants within Hood River and in the beautiful Hood River Valley. Enjoy a leisurely walk or a gentle bike ride along a well maintained stretch of the Old Columbia River Highway at Mark O. Hatfield trailhead. Downtown Hood River offers a variety of local shopping and eateries. The ever developing Heights and Waterfront areas continue to add fun and variety to the city.
