This 2BR/2BA home is in a fantastic location just a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to Austin's famous Rainey Street district, two blocks from a hike and bike trail around the beautiful Town Lake and with easy access to all of Downtown. Recently built, this modern home offers a true experience of what living in the hot spots of Austin is like. Located just east of downtown Austin in a vibrant neighborhood the address is a convenient location providing quick access to Austin hot spots and major thoroughfares. The design offers a two-story floor plan of indoor and outdoor living areas. The first floor consists of a comfortable living space, bathroom and small back deck. The second floor includes a spacious and gorgeous deck, kitchen, living room and another bedroom and bathroom. The home's contemporary interior features clean, sleek lines that foster an efficient use of space. Windows in the home were carefully designed to provide privacy from neighboring homes while allowing natural light to stream indoors and to allow views of the tree canopies from every window. This home is perfectly located to enjoy the downtown scene and offers easy access to some of Austin’s largest festivals. The home is just a mile walk to the Austin Convention Center, home to the annual SXSW music festival. Even closer-by is the ever growing in popularity Rainey Street. This street of bars has redefined the concept of going out in Austin and has quickly become the most enjoyable place to spend the nights. Around the home are also great places to eat, like Mr. Natural, a classic Austin establishment at its finest, featuring wonderful vegetarian and vegan dishes and yoga all in the same spot. If you’re looking for breakfast a must try is Juan in a Million, known for their enormous portions and great pricing, this restaurant has been featured on many food and travelling shows. There are also great places to eat on Rainey Street and East Sixth Street, both under a mile away. On East Sixth Street there is Licha’s Cantina that serves Mexican food and has excellent outdoor seating. In the other direction on Rainey Street you must try G’raj Mahal; they serve some of the best reviewed Indian food in the city and on some nights stay open as late as 2AM. The combination of this modern home and the location are such a rarity in this part of Austin that it creates a truly wonderful experience for a vacation. Access to garage and washer/dryer!

Absolutely loved this charming spot in East Austin. Walking distance to great foodie finds like Mr. Natural and Cenote to name a few. Could also walk to the river and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, which is full of beautiful homes and great neighbors. Will definitely be staying here again when I come back for other fun times in town.
Slept so well and woke up feeling like I was home.
Although the house was set up great for two couples, I felt there were important details left out. First, the description states, Second to Rainey Street and downtown, I highly dispute that statement. A 16-20 minute walk through a sketchy neighborhood and having to pass under 35 freeway to Rainey St. is not ideal. Once to Rainey St. another 10 minute walk is required to downtown. Don't expect to use the garage picture for parking either. Unless you have a smart car, good luck fitting in the alley way. We had to use a transportation service the entire weekend since getting in and out of alley wasn't that simple. There is no cable T.V. either, that was key to us being huge sports fans. I personally wouldn't stay at the location again. Home was again great but the location was not as described.
The house is fully furnished with great bed, couches, bath and more. Easy walk to East Cezar Chavez restaurants and shopping. Getting around was a breeze and riding bikes was always an awesome bonus. The house itself is cozy and comfortable and the neighborhood is beautiful, truly an example of the charm that makes Austin famous.
I stayed here for a week with my family and it was a perfect spot. Really clean and close to downtown and Rainey. Nice little yard in the back and a sweet deck. The river is a short walk/ride away and the neighborhood is very Austin-ish. We felt like we were living in Austin as opposed to a hotel which is what we wanted! I wish they had bikes that came with the rental because it was a great way to get around - we just found a bike shop nearby and rented.

A group of four of us stayed at this rental for a long weekend. It was clean, safe, and had everything we needed! It's down a side alley, which made it hard to find upon arrival. There is a bedroom downstairs and a bedroom upstairs, which provides some privacy within the apartment and makes it ideal if you have two couples staying together. It's about a 10 minute walk to Rainey St and a 5 minute walk to the Colorado River. If you're going to South Congress or 6th you need to take a cab. Overall it was a great place and I would definitely recommend it.
The unit was in excellent condition and very clean; the bed was heavenly and the location was as close to Rainey Street as we could find; plus it was a very short walk to the River Trail. The deck was perfect and the AC very cool!
