Apartment, 1 Bedroom, 1.0 Bathroom, (Sleeps 4)
We miss being there. The view was amazing. Jesus is the way the truth and the life.
The property exceeded expectations. It was exactly as represented in the advertisement, and even better. Location in the city is terrific and within walking distance of virtually everything. In fact, the listing could probably advertise the views even better. They were spectacular and fun to watch. The 25th floor patio area was also amazing and we utilized it a few times. Property was exceptionally clean, tastefully appointed, and had almost everything we needed.
Highly recommend this property, or building to anyone. Would love to return there.
AMAZING & PERFECT!
Let me start out by saying “ WOW”.
From the moment we arrive to check in and checked out, it’s was all truly perfect.
The suite is so lovely and spotless. Tastefully decorated and every part of the suite had special touches, amazing bed and linens and much more!!!
The VIEWS WERE DO BEAUTIFUL that it literally took my breath away for a few moments. Especially the night view.
We felt like we were on top of the world.
Also, very peaceful and quiet. Everything was in walking distance. We rented bikes for fun. Great restaurants at every corner. Very safe and comfortable.
The service was Superb! So kind and resourceful. There is no reason to look at any other place. I’ve stayed in nice places all through my travels and would rather stay here than the Ritz near by.
Don’t look any further. This is the best place and view and I truly felt like I was at home but in the city.
Exceeded all our expectations.
Good that could be even better
The apartment was surprisingly luxurious and was as displayed online. High-end appliances and decor finishes, topped with breathtaking art of African-Americans by longtime Philadelphia resident Shawn Theodore, also known as xST, add a personal touch and homey feel. However, while the quartz island and energy-efficient features were admirable, it was hard to get a good night’s rest with the see-through shades and lack of room-darkening drapes. In addition, the thermostat was preset at a balmy 72 degrees, which, coupled with the polar vortex down comforter, made for sweaty nights, combined with the city lights, moonlight and sunlight beating down inexorably as we tried to sleep, much less, sleep in. We were cranky in the mornings, not being well rested.
Our third day, the carbon monoxide detector went off in the apartment at about 5:50 am, scaring us out of our sleep and causing us to jump out of bed frightened and disoriented. We quickly dressed and went down to the concierge for further instructions, but when we asked Ray what was wrong, he casually told us they were testing the building’s CO detectors. He said they’d sent emails to the residents. Since we aren’t residents, no one had bothered to tell us, or leave a note on the Lyric floors.
Then, there was the one bedside lamp in the bedroom that did not work. We called Lyric customer service that night and left a vmsg about the lamp. We did not receive a call back, but the next day we asked someone named Claudia, a Lyric staff, if she could fix the lamp. She checked it and said it was missing a bulb and she would replace it that same day, but she didn’t. We called Lyric customer service again that night. The following afternoon, Claudia returned with a bulb and told us she’d totally forgot about us the day before as she was tired and leaves work at 6. We were stunned at how unprofessional and dismissive she was. In spite of all of this, we enjoyed the cleanliness and spaciousness of the apartment and the great amenities in the building.
Beautiful suite and building, amazing location
We very much enjoyed our stay! The building is definitely luxury, and the suite was beautifully done, with all the amenities you would want and more. The floor to ceiling windows were awesome and the bed was comfy. We really enjoyed the roof deck and 2nd floor lounge.
Lyric customer service was quick to answer any questions I had, by text and email. We appreciated the Voss water and miscellaneous snacks, as well as the nice TV and Bluetooth speaker. It took some fiddling, but I got my phone connected to play music, which was nice. Small complaints would be no suite guide in the suite, the towels were too small (and I’m a petite woman), and there were a few stains on the rug/scratches on the wall that are unsightly yet could have been easily removed. Bedroom wall sconce also did not work. Otherwise it felt like living in a luxury apartment right in downtown (walking distance to the historic area and to shopping). A whole slew of restaurants and bars just a block away! Would definitely come back.
