Four bedroom, two and a half bath home. Perfect for a family getaway with plenty of room in a nice quiet neighborhood. Enjoy BBQ's or meals outside on the balcony. One block away from a national forest walking/biking trail with a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. The lake and shopping centers are within a five minute drive. Skiing and casinos are a short drive down the road. Multiple restaurants and coffee shops are located nearby.
Tahoe is the place we spent many vacations as children and where I built many fond memories. I wanted to relive that as an adult with my family and help other families do the same. Come, stay a while, and create memories to remember for many years to come.
Jessica Rosenberg purchased this house in 2013
This house is centrally located with many options for daily activities. Whether you plan to relax and enjoy the sites or hit the slopes or slot machines, this is the place to stay.
Having a house so close to a walking or hiking trail is a wonderful way to enjoy Lake Tahoe. Morning and evening views of the lake from the hill are amazing. One of the few sandy beaches along Tahoe is located a few miles away. Bike trails around the lake start just outside the neighborhood and are easy to access.
The house is big and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen and bathrooms are nice and updated. I enjoy the view of the balcony and the back of the house. The garage, washer, and dryer are great to have. Jessica was responsive when we called her. BTW, the house is located on a steep road. We had a little problem getting in and out of the driveway due to heavy ice and snow. We had 4WD and chains. The driveway and road should be fine in a normal weather condition. Jessica, thanks for sharing your home.
The house is big and roomy for a family of 6. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. I like everything about the house. Jessica was responsive when we called her. The garage, washer and dryer are great to have. The road in front of the house is steep. We had a 4WD truck with chains and we were struggling pulling in and out of the driveway due to heavy ice and snow. In normal condition, the driveway would be fine. Thanks for sharing your home Jessica.
We stayed at this property for New Year's Eve 2016. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was well stocked with necessities like bath tissue, paper towels, soap etc. The upstairs bathrooms were remodeled and very nice. The kids were looking forward to the pool table and foosball table but they are located in the garage and it was too cold during our visit for them to be out there.
There was a huge snowstorm while we were there and we did have some trouble driving up the road as it is a little steep. We don't have a 4-wheel drive and so we needed to go purchase chains. In the end, they were required for HWY 50 going home anyway. However, the steep street covered in snow made for a GREAT sled run!
The morning that we left, we came outside to find the neighbor from across the street shoveling our driveway. She was very sweet and gave us some local tips in case we return. All in all we had a wonderful stay in the house.
We loved staying at Jess & Dave's Tahoe home! They have everything you need in the house for a great stay. We enjoyed our morning coffee and dinner on the deck. Very close to Desolation Wildnerness...amazing High Sierra hiking! My husband enjoyed a couple of mountain biking trails very close to the house. We would also recommend going to the South side of Fallen Leaf Lake to swim (water is just as cold as Lake Tahoe). We will be back!
We had a blast at this property and Jess was awesome with responding to our questions. The four rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was great as we cooked every day we were there! The location is perfect as it is very close to the lake, groceries, and a few mins to the state line. I recommend this property to both families and groups of friends looking to get away from the fast paced city!!! Also, the property is fairly updated and the wifi is awesome since the cell service is spotty!
We loved our stay at this South Lake Tahoe home. Cabin was very clean and remodeled which was a nice surprise. Our kids were very excited to stay there and did not want to leave, they loved game tables and bid screen TV's. House is close to grocery stores which was very convenient for us. Owner responded to all phone calls and emails.
