This centrally located 475 sq ft (44 m²) apartment with hard wooden floor and nice carpentry, situated on ground floor in quiet area nearby Central Station (only 2 busstops away), is really amazing by it's art decorating and surprising design.
Very nearby what was elected in 2011 and 2012 as the most pleasant shopping street of the Netherlands you'll find a variety of conveniences as foodmarket, cinema, restaurants (Japanese, Indian, French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese etc), cafés, bistros, all kind of small shops.
At a two minutes walk you'll get the feeling being in a typical Dutch harbour village: Bickerseiland and Prinseneiland.
Amsterdam offers a lot of famous museums like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum (national museum), Stedelijk Museum (modern art). Other sites worth visiting: Anne Frank House, Concertgebouw (the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestre), Synagogues (the Portugese e.g. to be seen!), Music Halls, and so much more.......Enjoy your stay!

mr. Peter Janssen Groesbeek purchased this condo in 2013
The rental was nice and the owner, Peter, was very helpful and friendly. Peter had orange juice in the fridge and fresh fruit on the table. The location was good as we were able to walk to all attractions. The grocery store was only a block away. We were very comfortable during our stay.
This was our first visit to Amsterdam and we were initially overwhelmed with the large crowds and bike traffic. Peter's apartment was a refuge from this, tucked away from the main street, yet centrally located and close to everything. The neighbourhood was full of little shops and restaurants and close to bus and tram lines. Peter was a wonderful host, who, for a small fee, picked us up from the cruise dock and drove us to the airport, alleviating all our stress. He provided a transit card (for which we reimbursed him), wine, beer, fruit and flowers. The apartment is well equipped with a great coffee maker, comfy bed and large bathroom. it is so much nicer than staying at a hotel! Thank you, Peter!

My wife and I spent 6 nights. The location was excellent, close to everything. The apartment was everything we expected, clean, quiet with good amenities.
The host was outstanding.
Peter was most accommodating and flexible about the arrangements. Very responsive to our requests.
Our only problem was the air circulation. You could not open a window. As a result the apartment was very stuffy and it made sleeping difficult for us. After several nights I asked Peter for a fan. He immediately went out and bought a fan. The fan did help.
Overall a good experience.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is modern & impeccably maintained. Little things like fresh coffee, a few groceries & north American adaptors made all the difference. Peter was very prompt with replies & attentive during our stay. 5+ star.
We loved so much about this apartment: location, decor, very comfortable beds, elegant bathroom, and cozy. Was a great base to explore and see the sights. Peter and his son were very welcoming and offered tips and history. Price was very good. We would definitely stay here again.
Peter was an excellent host and has created an apartment with a unique charm. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen was well-supplied and had modern appliances. The coffee maker was a joy, and the art on the walls was fascinating. The movable walls were an interesting concept. The location was excellent for walking along the canals and for shopping ... and yet was quiet. I would highly recommend Peter's apartment.
