This beautiful home features luxury and artistic touches to add a splash of sophistication to your vacation. The beautiful layout, wood floors and cool tiles fill the house.

The master bedroom is located on the upper level. This room includes a California king bed, walk-in closet and very spacious bathroom. The dual-head shower and bench lend to spa-like experience. There is a peekaboo window which includes a privacy curtain which can be opened to view the sunset from the shower. There is also a bonus room upstairs has a twin trundle bed; perfect for kids or single adults! There is a half bath available to be used with this room. Each of the two guest rooms on the lower levels have their own ensuite bathrooms. One room includes and indoor bath, outdoor shower, and private outdoor breakfast nook!

The fully-equipped kitchen is great from those travelling cooks. The kitchen gadgets make it easy to bring the gourmet experience to your vacation. Alternatively, the outdoor grill is perfect for get-togethers or romantic sunset dinners on the upper deck. The coastline view runs from south Ali’i Drive all the way up to the airport.

Sit on the upper or lower outdoors spaces for spectacular coastline views from this home located right above Kailua-Kona Village at about a 700 feet elevation. The hillside home offers comfortable cooler night mountain breezes and sunny warm days to jump in the newly plastered pool. The prevailing trade winds from the west over the ocean and the mountain breezes from the east make this home so comfortable that there is no need for air conditioning.

Just two miles away from the ocean, the home is conveniently located close to many amenities which include an array of dining options, a movie theater and shopping centers, all within a 5-10 minute drive. Numerous resort amenities are available just to the South. The Keauhou Bay area offers great ocean access, scuba diving, and sailing, catamaran, fishing charters, sea kayaking and outrigger canoeing.

Just a few miles down the shoreline you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian Sea Turtles.

If you are seeking local markets and historical context, downtown Kailua-Kona is approximately a 10 minute drive for easy access to shopping, businesses, waterfront restaurants and hotels. Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out on the many beautiful beaches.

Up the coast is a busy marina with Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean activities. Maluhia is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!

The house was beautiful and spacious, but the pool was dirty when we arrived and the house was hot. The ceiling fans did help, but it would have been a much more comfortable experience if the house had AC. Other than that, we had a great time!

The summer can be warmer and like many homes on the island, this house relies on the cool ocean breeze for circulation and the doors and windows must be opened to allow for cooling. I can only assume that you are referring to fallen leaves in pool in between the weekly service days. Please let us know when you return, we will gladly offer 10% off of any of our homes and we have a few options with AC! Of course, we also encourage you to let us know about any issues (like leaves in the pool) during your visit so that we can remedy the issue for you. This home is in a great location and is very comfortable for up to 8 or 9 people including kids! The price for the week was very affordable and Boundless Hawaii is easy to work with. The maintenance staff was prompt, courteous and helpful. Very convenient location to town and all the activities we did. My biggest issue would be that house itself wasn't clean - especially the sun porch sleeping area where the grandchildren slept!

Our family stayed in this beautiful property for my daughters 16th birthday as well as the spreading of my father-in-law's ashes off the coast of Kona. The home was very clean and perfectly appointed. We also loved the location, close to stores in town and ability to move about the island. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and the full-size washer and dryer were a huge hit. I would highly recommend this property for families visiting the area.

Although, I know it's the American way, but just because it's Christmas I don't see why they feel the need to double the price,?? that would be the only issue that I would have with this beautiful home!
