I loved this cabin!! It was very beautiful and cozy!! It was definetly worth the drive and money. I would definetly recommend this cabin!
Awesome cabin, kids loved it. A ton of snow forced us to play board games and socialize, which the kids loved! Awesome wrap around deck for flanking opponents in a snowball fight!
The Cabin was perfect. Felt like home away from home. A perfect spot for relaxing and or adventures.
Will do this again for sure.
The property was very well maintained.
The owner had more than needed in the kitchen and bathroom.
I already have been recommending it on Facebook to friends and family.
Just had a lovely weekend getaway with some friends and really enjoyed the cabin. I was slightly discouraged when the directions provided drove us into the beginning of a subdivision. The driveway was definitely a problem, we could not get up it with our car, and the "hideaway cabin" has houses right on top of you on both sides; there is nothing hideaway about it.
Now don't get me wrong, it was a lovely weekend, and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, well except for a cracked coffee pot, and I would recommend this place to stay, as long as you aren't expecting a cabin out in the middle of the woods alone like we were.
A fantastic little spot to get away for a bit. This cabin was perfectly suited for our group of 8. Plenty of room for all to sleep and very well stocked on games, movies, cooking supplies, firewood, and bedding. Plenty of wilderness to explore in the area and Abraham lake is just a short drive away.
We brought a gallon jug of water to help take care of the water conservation and had no problems with running out. The fireplace does a great job of heating the house in the winter and there is ample amount of wood available, but be mindful the flue making it smokey in the house.
Just note that there was a refundable damage deposit for a large group (we had expected 10).
The owners were fantastic to work with and were quick to respond to all of our inquiries.
I would definitely rent this cabin again.
My husband and I went away over the Christmas break and stayed 3 nights and 4 days (with our 2 fur babies as pets were allowed) and the most AMAZING time. The cabin was everything we'd hoped for and more. It was the most peaceful and relaxing trip we've had. We can't wait to rent it again for a little get away!!! It was clean and had all the basic necessities.
