We personally searched across the Nation for the best place to live. Come and see why we chose Georgetown, Texas as the perfect fit.
Tom and Debbie: We started our married life here in Georgetown in 2006. Tom has lived and worked in Georgetown for the past 20+ years. We started Green Earth Builders together in 2005 and purchased and remodel the property you will be staying in. Our first home together was an historic house on Main Street. Our second home was another historic home on Elm Street. We lovingly remodel both of these homes. We are now almost finished with our present old home on Wilbarger Point which overlooks Southwestern University and Georgetown. We have a passion for restoration and decorating. Green Earth Builders helps sponsor the annual Heritage Society Holiday Home tour. Our own and several of our client’s homes have been featured over the years.
Lawrence Romero purchased this apartment in 2007
After looking nationwide, we feel that Georgetown offers the best balance of small town charm and friendliness in comparison to “Big City Livin”
Location! Location! Location!
The main house was built on the square and dragged by mule teams to its present location in the 1880’s. There is no closer vacation rental to the Historic County Square.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Mattie Rousier House; you have taken care of every little detail. I hope you keep Apt. 2. in your VRBO rental pool. I would love to come back and visit Georgetown when I have more time to visit. Thank you for accommodating us on such short notice.
We have stayed at this property several times over the past few years. Lawrence does a great job maintaining the home. We always find it warm and inviting. It has truly become our Texas home. It is so perfectly located and well appointed that it fits our needs perfectly. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Cozy and quaint cottage for four. Clean and fresh, with antique accommodations. Owner willing to assist with requests. Mattie's manor is divided into two separate residences. Nearby Georgetown square and restaurants.
Location, location, location! This rental is beautiful and comfortable. It is within walking distance to everything in the most beautiful downtown square in Texas. We love it and will be back next year. Lawrence and Michael are great hosts. Thank you!
Had a wonderful writer's retreat! Quiet but so close to all the fun of downtown Georgetown's square!
The description for this house was accurate... it's an absolutely adorable cottage and would be comfortable to stay in for a weekend or extended period of time. We stayed here with our toddler daughter and it was perfect space for her to play during the day and have her own space for bedtime. Perfect for family, though the bathroom may be a little small for 2 couples, but definitely doable. It's walkable to the Square for restaurants and shops, though grocery or pharmacy for necessities are only drivable (no big deal). We would absolutely stay here again.
This house is newly reinovated with beautiful furnishings and very comfortable. Our host was very responsive and accommodating as well as friendly. The location couldn't be better. One block from the town square and an excellent restaurant where we are at least once a day! The entire experience was wonderful and we look forward to our next visit, which will be soon.
You are at the 'Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas' A safe hometown atmosphere with loads of antique shops, dining, bars, winery storefronts, and live music at several locations. The Palace Theater with live Broadway Shows, The Williamson County Museum, Inner Space Caverns are nearby and the Round Rock Outlet Mall is just south of Georgetown city limits.
