About Jerry Lee
I am a lifelong resident of Oscoda and met my wife shortly after she moved to the area in 1996. We love our town and enjoy sharing the beauty and fun it offers with our guests! Our family has had so much fun with this new adventure and feel lucky to continue to make so many new friends. We enjoy traveling, are avid sports fans, love boating & fishing especially on Lake Huron or the AuSable River or just relaxing outside by a bonfire.
Jerry Lee purchased this House in 2017
Why Jerry Lee chose Au Sable
Our property is all about the location without skimping on comfort. You'll have access to the AuSable River or Lake Huron, parking for your boat or jet ski directly in front of the house with all the comforts of home. Our home is walking distance to restaurants, beaches, ice cream shops and multiple fishing spots. We worked on renovating our home with our kids and foreign exchange student for a little over a year. We were all very involved in this fun family project! Our home is open year round. So go on a fall color tour check out the steelhead fishing or pack up your snow shoes, cross country skis or snowmobiles and hit the trails this winter about 1/2 mile from the house. The opportunities are endless! A bit of history about our property. The house is located at the finish line for the annual AuSable River Canoe Marathon, was the home of Mr. Sawyer and where he began building his first canoes, was later Tiny's home of Tiny's bait shop or AuSable Bait and Tackle and was a key property that was used for transporting wood in the logging days.
What makes this House unique
This is one of the best spots in Oscoda-Northern, MI. This section of river is good for fishing by boat, along the seawall, kayaking, tubing, swimming or just listening to the water flow by. Our home features new furnishings, an updated kitchen, streaming television services and nice linens throughout! We have a variety of things for families to enjoy inside and out!

The house was beautiful and cozy. My husband and children enjoy being able to just walk out the back door and go fishing for hours. My family and I had an amazing relaxing vacation and would love to come back again.
Long weekend relaxing getaway
Everything was perfect... from check in to check out (Jerry and Jen were so kind). Such a cozy little cottage with so many special touches to make it warm and inviting. And the location on the beautiful AuSable River made it even better!
Oscoda on the Mighty Au Sable
Beautiful well maintained property, just feet from the gorgeous AuSable river with all the amenities of home. The house is great and the owners are better! I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Northern Michigan.
enjoyed 3 days of relaxing and fishing with awesome locations.
Cant wait to go back next year
Ausable Oscoda Retreat
This is a wonderful property right on the Ausable River. It was even better than the pictures. The interior was very roomy and stylish with a beautiful beach theme. The location is incredible. You can walk, bike, or kayak anywhere in town. The thing that stood out above everything with this property was the owners. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay.
Phenomenal Vacation family Getaway
This home was beyond beautiful. The property owners thought of every last detail. They communicated everything with us and made our stay very relaxing. The fishing hole is a perfect getaway for a family, group of friends or any combination. The fishing was fantastic just off the bank. The kayaks were alot of fun. Nearby so many amenities as well as the short drive to east tawas for other activities or dining. We went to many of the nearby restaurants in both oscoda and tawas..as well as the shopping. Loved that! Our teens enjoyed the one flat screen and the speedy wifi. The hammocks in the maple were so lovely. I cannot stress enough how easy this couple has thought of to make your stay enjoyable. Our 4 teens slept in the loft and they would probably have liked it a bit cooler up there, but maybe a bigger fan? But the main floor ac was icy cool, so how can u complain? There reallly can not be many negatives in my opinion, but the over the top amount of touches dwn to fresh flowers and local items frm local shops, just really set the bar. Thier young son was helpful on a few occasions, and really a very well mannered young man! The beaches were gorgeous and if you have a boat this is really a prime location to lake Huron. Highly recommend 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆
