Overview

Fairview House Rental Photos and Description

2,800 sf treehouse, 7 private acres.

Perched on the side of a mountain at the end of a pristine, forested drive, with tree lined views from every room.

An amazing natural stone wall welcomes you to a beautifully decorated living room, offset by a wood burning fireplace visible from the living and dining areas.

A separate dining room, with a large dining table, makes you feel as though you're suspended into the trees, proving an amazing view.

The master bedroom on the main floor features a king bed, large flat screen television, and a master bath with a large tile shower, double sinks, granite counter top and two walk-in closets. A second bedroom features a cozy king bed and large flat screen tv, and shares a full bath with a third bedroom with a twin daybed which converts to a queen bed.

A large family room is located on the lower level/walk-out basement and features a wood burning stove encased in a large brick fireplace, comfortable queen size sofa bed, and 55 inch tv.

A fourth bedroom is also on this floor with two twin beds, which can be pushed together to make a king, as well as a full bath with a tub/shower.

All four bedrooms have wonderful tree line views. Just lie in bed and enjoy the view.

Enjoy preparing meals in the fully equipped, gourmet kitchen, which includes full size, stainless steel appliances and lots of great cooking equipment. A pub table with two chairs sits at one end of the kitchen – because we know everyone loves to be in the kitchen.

The large decks are complete with a gas BBQ grill, patio chairs and 2 outdoor dining tables, and is completely private for the perfect place to relax while you listen to the sounds of the creek flowing through the property.

Don't forget to take in the view from the fantastic new hot tub - it's great!

(While no smoking is allowed inside the house, we provide sand buckets outside should you wish to smoke on the deck).

Completely furnished for style and comfort, the house will accommodate up to 8 people.

Get the best of mountain, luxury living and the fabulously, eclectic and fun Asheville vibe!

Guestbook comments from the owner

All our communications prior to our arrival were friendly and prompt. The Asheville Treehouse was exactly as described: luxurious, very private, very quiet, and comfortable. Everything from the beds (great sheets!), to the comfy sofas, great deck chairs on the huge deck, and the clean hot tub, met and exceeded our expectations. This is a great place, perfect for exploring Western North Carolina and Asheville. The Fall must be glorious here! We're already planning our return.

Fantastic and Relaxing treehouse Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

This house is fantastic and everything that it was expected to be and more! Perfect for 2 families as the layout was great! 2 king bed rooms at opposite sides of the house with a pull out trundle which is more of a king when put together and 2 twin downstairs. The downstairs was perfect for kiddos to relax! We were on the go starting in the morning and came home at night to sit outside and relax after long days! I would not change and thing and all of the appliances are amazing! Thanks for sharing your home!

Absolutely gorgeous, secluded, peaceful property

  • 5 of 5

My family of 8 had a wonderful and relaxing time here at the "treehouse". It was the perfect serene, mountainous setting. The stream you can hear in the background is just heavenly. The grounds were immaculate, the house was also. We couldn't have had a better stay in the Asheville area!

The Treehouse is a lovely description of the beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

The sound of the creek bubbling along over the rocks when sitting on the deck was a sweet surprise. The home is filled with light, the furniture and beds are very comfortable, kitchen cookware well stocked, owner very responsive to questions, grocery store and gas station off I-40 on the way in, and 15 minutes to Asheville!!! Restaurants in Asheville are fabulous and a day at the Biltmore (definitely get the Audio Tour) was lovely. It was a perfect!

Very nice accommodations!

  • 5 of 5

Our party consisted of 4 middle-aged women who graduated from High School together so we were looking for a nice, quiet home to visit/relax in, close to an area with good shopping, food and not-too-strenuous sight-seeing activities. Upon entering the Treehouse, all four of us echoed "Oh, this is SO NICE!". The house was set up perfectly for us, with each having our own nicely appointed bedroom, along with nice-sized bathrooms to share. The house is exactly as described, with a nicely appointed kitchen (it was so nice to have coffee, cream and sugar provided!) and luxurious linens in the bedrooms. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub a couple of the nights, as well; just remember to bump up the thermostat earlier in the day so it is ready in the evening. We would heartily recommend staying in this home!!

Really special house!

  • 5 of 5

If you are particular about where you stay or "getting your money's worth" for rental homes, this is THE house for you. The owners have provided absolutely everything needed - great quality beds, plush robes, luxury baths, a clean and working gas grill complete with grill tools and the kitchen is second to none. The only thing I would change is NOT something anyone can fix - it's super hilly in the neighborhood so hard to take a morning or evening walk. Trails, etc in the area though. The views are so lovely - mountain stream, rhodendron ready to bloom and mountain vistas ------ it's just the best place for friends or family to gather. This was our third time to rent from Tonya - and we hope to return!

Our home is in a private, mountain community, 15 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Local coffee and fresh baked goods, fresh cheeses and more, can be found at Troyer’s Country Amish Blatz, just at the bottom of the mountain. And if you’d like an espresso, venture just a couple of miles further to Mountain Mojo for even more fresh baked goods and self-serve savory foods. You’ll be 5 minutes from a major grocery chain (Food Lion), as well as great food at The Local Joint, Piazza, Trout Lily Healthy Mini Market, and Pizza and More on 74. A complete list and menus will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Asheville offers so much! Incredible galleries, the best dining, arts, and live entertainment, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the world famous Biltmore House and Gardens and Winery and Grove Park Inn & Spa and Golf Resort.

Other area attractions and activities include the quaint town of Weaverville, the 435-acre North Carolina Arboretum, the Pisgah National Forest (mountain biking, swimming, hiking), horseback riding, balloon rides, skiing at Wolf Laurel, relaxing at the historic Hot Springs Spa, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, Chimney Rock Park, Grandfather Mountain, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and, of course, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We’ve also got lots of personal favorite spots in the area we would be happy to share with you.

In winter months, a four-wheel drive is recommended in case of snow.
