This new apartment is furnished to a high standard and situated on the second floor of a small, gated complex of 16 units. Secure underground parking for two cars is available and electronically controlled. The apartment has a video entry system and shutters on all windows. The large kitchen has all the necessary equipment, it has an oven with grill, microwave, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, iron, ironing board, airing rack and all utensils needed for cooking and dining. The open-plan lounge has 2 sofas, 32 inch TV, DVD player and dvds, satellite, central sound system with connection for your ipod, WIFI, Playstation, board games and an electric fire for those chillier evenings out of high season. The dining area has an extending dining table seating 8 and patio doors to a balcony with rattan dining suite. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, large built in wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 2 has twin beds with large built in wardrobe containing a safety deposit box, patio door to rear balcony with a patio table and chairs. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and large built in wardrobe and patio doors to balcony. Two bathrooms one with jacuzzi bath, shower, bidet and wc and the other has shower and WC. The apartment benefits from Air conditioning and heating. All rooms are very spacious. All linen and towels, including beach towels are provided and we have sunbeds for your personal use and beach toys.
My husband and I live in Devon we have two children and have spent our holidays in Portugal, particularily this area for many years and always had a fantastic time. We would be there all the time if it wasn't for the fact we have to work!!!

Our modern apartment is in a quiet, gated complex and situated overlooking the pool and gardens just on the outskirts of Albufeira Old Town and is an easy 25 minute drive from Faro Airport. With a train station, buses and fantastic road links, exploring is easy. Ferreiras is a very friendly village with all you will need for your stay.There is a market selling fresh produce as well as a supermarket, butchers and bakers, traditional cafe bars, restaurants (Retro Nunos being our favourite), gym and bank all within a 5min walk. Centrally located you are 5 minutes by car from the busy town of Albufeira, a few minutes by car from the beautiful beaches of Sao Rafael, Castel, Praia d'Oura and Fisherman's Beach which offer many water sports such as the inflatable tubes, jet skiing, paragliding and many more.The biggest shopping mall in the Algarve is 5 minutes away with over 100 shops, a bowling alley, cinema and food court. The links golf course of Salgados is just down the road and Villamoura with it's famous championship courses and marina is only a 10 minute drive away. Great to go for lunch and watch the luxury boats go in and out of the marina or perhaps even hire one yourself. For the more athletic, cycling is a great way to explore the area either a leisurely ride or for the more serious road biking through the countryside. Bikes can be hired nearby.
The children will be spoilt for choice as their is so much to do. You have the choice between two water parks, Zoomarine, fantastic beaches, boat trips from the local marina which include a must do trip to see the dolphins and caves, quad biking and many other attractions. Of course you can always have a quiet day by the pool.
For those who would like a bit of nightlife you can go to Albufeira new town and spend a night out on the `Strip' with its hundreds of bars and night clubs. Alternatively, you can go out and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants over looking the sea or venture a little further out to the villages and try some of the award winning restaurants that are nestled away. We can give you directions!

Payment is due 6 weeks before travel and a 20% deposit is taken on booking to secure the property. You can pay by bank transfer or cheque.
A deposit of 200 euros or £200 will be taken on arrival and returned once the property is checked.
