With entrance from the private garden of 15th century Palazzo Falier and its private water taxi jetty, Canaletto Falier - with view on the private garden of Palazzo Falier and the canal Rio del Duca - has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, a comfortable and fully furnished living room with satellite TV and internet ADSL and a fully equipped modern kitchen consolle. Canaletto Falier is finely decorated with Venetian “marmorino' and 'stucchi”, with original '1930' Venini” lamps all aver the apartment and italian marble new bathrooms. A quiet, and very elegant place in the most prestigious Venice district. On the day of your arrival and departure you can get into the apartment trough the prestigious entrance of Palazzo Falier on the Grand Canal.

The private garden of XV century Palazzo Falier can be used but for eating or cooking: other arrangements can be taken with the property according to circumstances. On the days of your arrival and departure it is possible to arrive and leave with a private water taxi using the private jetty of Palazzo Falier and its prestigious entrance from the Canal Grande. The communal swimming pool is at the Giudecca, about 25 minutes from the apartment.

Wonderful Place in a Great Location

We could not have been happier with this apartment. Good communication with both the owner (Giovanni) and the gentleman who coordinated our arrived and departure (Orial). This is a small but lovely, clean, nicely appointed, and air conditioned apartment. The location was perfect for our 3.5 day pre-cruise stay, providing a quiet and comfortable place to stay with easy access to everything. It was a treat to take a private water taxi service directly to the apartment from the airport, and then directly from there to our cruise port. An assortment of restaurants and cafe's was only a 2 minute walk, and a full grocery store only 15 minutes away. We did have two small issues; there was a burned out light in the bathroom and the refrigerator door didn't want to stay closed. We were also disappointed with the clothes dryer. Either it was a combination washer/dryer that we didn't know how to use, or the owner's version of a clothes dryer was the rack they provided to hang wet clothes on. If it was a combo washer/dryer, some instructions in English would have been helpful. Overall however, this was a wonderful little place and we would happily rent it again. Great Stay over the New Year Holiday.

We stayed in this apartment from December 30-January 1. The apartment was lovely and just as described. The host was easy to communicate with and did a great job meeting us and showing us around. It was a great location and easy to walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellence stay here - just wish we could have stayed longer! Orial was very helpful and patient, making sure we got to the correct location. The apartment has two nice sized bed rooms, with a kitchen and living space in-between - perfect for two couples or a family with kids. The courtyard is quaint & private. There are plenty of good places to eat just around the corner, but if you want a nice 25 min walk before you eat, head over to Taverna da Boffo in the San Polo area. Might be the best restaurant in Venice!

Peace and Quiet

We had a wonderful stay at this San Marco property in July. The apartment was perfect for two couples or 4 people. With updated amenities and hard to find AC, this location was ideal. We took a water taxi from the train station to the entrance of the property on the grand canal. The apartment has a great courtyard with grass and trees (rare). Right next to the Academia Bridge, we were in the perfect area for all of the sites. The property manager were great, and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing location in Venice!!

Stay tax $3.69 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the owner upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 10 years.

The rental price includes all expenses taxes and final cleaning. The guarantee deposit is required in cash and will be return in cash the departure day. In alternative it can be paid by bank trasfer with a separate transfer and will be returned by bank transfer with bank fees on the side of the Guest.
Check-in time: from 2 pm to 8 pm
Check-out time: within 11 am
As the apartment doesn’t have its reception desk, an appointment must be taken with the Owner's delegate at the apartment..For late check-in after 8 pm there will be an extra charge of 20 euros plus10 euros per each hour after 9 pm to be paid in cash at the arrival. Check-in later then 11 pm must be agreed with the Owner's Delegate.
Forgotten items: in case of forgotten items, Guest will organize himself the pick-up from the apartment: the pick-up address is San Marco 2906 - Venezia 30124.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
