Great Property in a Fantastic Location
The apartment met our needs really well. It was clean and nicely furnished. The garden was nicely private (compared to some of the others) and yet the pool area was so close. We visited in early May, the temperature was around 28 degrees and yet we were the only ones using the pool! The apartment was also really conveniently located - a pleasant walk alongside the golf course to the village shops and restaurants (dark at night though so you might want to take a torch!) Julie's communication before our arrival was always prompt and very helpful. No dishwasher in the kitchen, but we didn't do much cooking so it wasn't really an issue for us. This property was great value in a great location. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic Holiday..........Happy memories made!
Just returned from a fantastic week's holiday at Aphrodite Hills. Helios Heights garden apartment was perfectly located within the resort, just a short stroll to the Village Square.
Having the pool area at the end of the lovely sized garden was ideal as no need to bring all and sundry to the pool side and if anything forgotten, we could just pop back to the apartment!
The pools were fantastic. Daddy pool, Mummy pool and Baby pool as our two year old daughter named them!
She particularly loved the baby pool and spent hours over the week splashing about and gaining confidence in the water. The temperature of the pools was great as well.
The apartment had everything you could need. Well proportioned, clean, nice power showers, wi-fi and satellite tv with English channels. Only negative was the bed, which was not overly comfortable but became more bearable as the week went on and we got kind of used to it.
We didn't really cook but all the facilities were available to do so and with the patio area in the garden, there is a nice setting for an evening meal.
Would definitely recommend a car in order to venture out and take in some of the breath taking scenery along the coastal roads and also the traditional local towns and villages. Also good if you like the beach as there are many to choose from.
The supermarket on site is ridiculously expensive, so recommend driving to local towns to pick up supplies.
Restaurants on site were decent, maybe slightly expensive (Approx €80 for the three of us), but not too bad. We ate at the Anoi pub, the Italian in the evening and the Golf Club during the day a couple of times (best club sandwich ever!!) and treated ourselves to ice cream and coffee at the Haagen Daas shop and Costa.
Would recommend eating out in local towns. We had great meals at tavernas in Kouklia and Pissouri, where the cost was half of what you would pay at the resort (€40-50 for the three of us). Nice atmosphere too.
Resort is an easy 15 minute drive along the coastal road from Paphos airport.
Would have no hesitation staying here again. Perfect family time together in a beautiful setting.
Excellent holiday in the Garden Apartment
We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay with our 2 daughters aged 11 and 13 in Aphrodite Hills. The Garden Apartment was superbly placed to enjoy the beautiful and well landscaped pool areas, the girls enjoyed the close proximity of the pool to the apartment and the adults enjoyed the secluded garden area. We first visited this apartment 5 years ago and it is just as we remembered it - well maintained with all facilities you could ask for in a holiday apartment. The village square is a short 5 minute walk through the golf course where there is a well stocked supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and play area.
Perfect for sun, sightseeing, sports and sea.
Stunning views enjoyed from landing at Pafos only a short drive away. Bikinis on around the pool and it's only 29th March! Kourion archaeological site just one of the highlights. Walks along the coastline, visit to the marina and coffee in the cobbled streets of Omodos on the way to the Troodos mountains. Finished off with a meal at a local taverna or at the resort hub just a short walk away. Something for everyone in a welcoming, clean and reasonably priced destination.
Lovely apartment in great location
Just back from another stay at Julie's lovely apartment. As a family of 4 who want to be a stone's throw from the tennis, golf and the village square, this is ideal. Would recommend it highly although please don't book it for when we are planning to come back!
We had a wonderful late break staying at the Garden Apartment in Aphrodite Hills. It is a lovely apartment offering everything a holidaymaker needs and in such a great location; easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go both on site and out and about in Western Cyprus! We saw more mosaics and archaeological digs than we thought possible but all absolutely fascinating. We also had long, peaceful, relaxing days by the fabulous pools and they were ideal for proper swimming and quiet enough for me to do some reading! We are not fans of Paphos nightlife but did love the choice of restaurants (tavernas) in Pissouri and Pissouri Bay which offered beautiful locations and great food.
Aphrodite Hills is very much a 5 star resort offering a green, gentle, luxury haven for a wonderful Autumn break with great weather.
The 5 star Aphrodite Hills Golf and Spa Resort is perfectly located in a prime position and offers everything you need for an ideal holiday. Just a short distance from the world renowned Aphrodite's Rock, the birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite, Aphrodite Hills is close to several small traditional villages. The entrance to the resort is within a few minutes walk of the 'Cove' an undisturbed natural beach. There is also an exclusive privately owned 'Zias' Beach Club for guests use just a short drive away at Avdimou. With stunning views of the Mediterranean Aphrodite Hills nestles in an exquisite setting amongst untouched forest, carob and olive groves. Aphrodite Hills 18 hole championship course designed by Cabell B Robinson is a challenging and scenic golfers paradise. The vibrant town of Paphos with its charming castle, bustling harbour and abundance of attractions is just 20 minutes drive and the unforgettable Troodos Mountains and traditional Cypriot villages are well worth a visit.
