The property serves as our weekend getaway. However with a different plan these winter months, I decided to offer it for rental
The view is exquisitely breathtaking and simply relaxing.
Let’s just say from the pictures, previous reviews, and pricing our family was really excited to stay at this property. That’s about the extent of the excitement because it was a disaster from the second we pulled up to the property. One of the main reason we rented the place was because it had internet access. Some of us needed to work and needed internet to do so. We were never told by the owner this did not work, but we asked a week before to make sure. Of course, then we found out it was out and was not going to be fixed until later in the year. If you list an amenity for your property and it does not work, you would think you would be notified. The home has a keypad by the front door in order to get the key for opening the property. This did not work upon arrival after attempting to open for 30 minutes. We had to call the emergency number and wait for someone to come up the mountain the open the house. Once we entered the home, we all noticed it was a nice property in general. We walked throughout the home to check out our new headquarters for the week. We noticed there were several lights not working and we changed all the light bulbs on numerous lights (should have been done prior by the homeowner). The master bathroom light never worked the entire trip even after changing the bulb more than once. The latrine has its own water closet separated from the bathroom, so doing your business in the dark was not too fun. After getting settled in, we noticed the property was not very clean. There were cobwebs all over the place including most of the ceiling rafters where it was easily visible during your stay. You must pay for a cleaning service within the rental agreement, so whomever the property owner uses needs to be excused from their position in our opinion. The house was not clean! The toilet upstairs was running upon our arrival, so we checked it out. The chain was broken and it would leak onto the floor. We contacted the owner to let him know so we were not charged for the issues. The owner said he knew of the issue. We were so pleased they never let us know! We brought all of our food and drink in to put up and when we opened up the refrigerator, it was stocked full of food from the previous tenant. To be honest this was disgusting and we had to put our food in and around what was already in there. There was honestly no room for what we brought for the week. You would think the cleaning crew would clean the refrigerator out befo
The Jungos cabin met all of our needs for the two families staying there. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the owner was always quick to respond to any needs we had. The location was convenient to the golf course and ski areas.
Gorgeous luxurious cabin close to Monte Verde lake near the summit in Angel fire with gorgeous views of the valley below. The cabin is updated with gorgeous granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, spacious bathrooms with large tubs, and incredible floor to ceiling full-pane windows in the living room, den, and one of the bedrooms, providing a decadent view of the Forrest below and verdant mountain tops across the valley. The location is quiet with amazing scenery and several hiking trails nearby. We saw deer, elk , hummingbirds, and other local wildlife right outside the windows every morning which was a delight for the children and augmented our camping experience. The cabin had a fully furnished kitchen that met all our needs, huge dinning room, large comfortable beds, extra bedding, board games, wifi, satellite TV, covered parking, and more. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and responded promptly to any question or comment. I could not give this cabin or experience any higher recommendation and can say with full confidence that we will definitely be back next year.
My family and I loved staying here. The spiral staircase combined with the layout and size of the house gave it a feeling of class and tranquility. We immediately wished that we had invited more guests to enjoy the experience with us. There is plenty of bedding to sleep 8 and storage for all of the luggage and gear that one could need. Whether you want to sit around and play Scrabble with the family while the fireplace is burning, enjoy an evening on the deck, or head outdoors to enjoy mother nature. This cabin has it all.
Me and my husband stayed at this home which is a fantastic property. The views are amazing during the day and night. It is equipped with everything you need and more. The golf course is very well maintained and is close to the home, also a grocery store and restaurants are close by. It is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay, please consider your next stay here.
