Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!
The home was clean, comfortable and inviting. The location was quiet without a lot of traffic and centrally located to local attractions. I had read in previous reviews that the back fence was in need of repair. It is still broken down in several places. I don't feel that a rental should be listed as "pet friendly" if the yard is deficient. "Pets allowed" is more accurate.
The location is quiet and very central to local attractions. We all enjoyed our stay.
The cabin is in the older side but it's clean. A little upgrade on furniture and window trims would be nice. It is more in the darker side. Would love to see more lights or brighter lights in the living room area. The back fence needs to be fixed. I was worried that my dog run out to the other side. It would be nice if we could let the dog play in the back yard without too much supervision.
The kitchen wares a little outdated. It was hard to use pots and pans that are not usable and in poor conditions.
Would be great to have a can opener. More cooking utensils. More plates and mugs /cups/glasses.
The property does not have any basic spices or oil or anything like that... so be sure to bring them from home or pick up at the grocery if you are planning to cook. Grocery is just 2 mins away...
The master bedroom red bedding was dirty. Found a couple spots. I would not use it. Need to provide more blankets. Yes there is heater in the cabin but I personally can't sleep with the heater on.
Situated in the city of So Lake Tahoe, and close to shops, restaurants, markets, Harrah's, etc., this large house was wonderful to vacation in. Full kitchen, and nicely furnished house. We enjoyed our 5 night stay there very much.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and cozy. It has everything you would need for a few days away. It's close to the lake, shops, restaurants and casinos. So there's lots to do without having to worry about driving. We were able to cook and feed 8 people comfortably. The only things I noticed that need attention are a bigger trash can outside because the people before us had filled both cans so we had to dispose of our trash ourselves. The TV in the master doesn't work properly. The curtains in the master are old and need to be removed as they get stuck. It would be nice if there was coffee and tea available. Overall we enjoyed the home and would consider renting again.
