Ok for 8, not 10

  • 3 of 5

The 4 rooms are comfortable, no problem. But the sofa bed is broken, uncomfortable, and dirty.

It isn't a good surprise, when you go to bed, removing the sofa pillow and discover bread crumbs right under it. Under the sofa wasn't cleaner. Then the sofa wasn't really new, some springs were missing, so the bed wasn't straight. Anyway, not a good experience, I've slept in better beds in youth hostels..

Owner's Response: This home is advertised for 8 not 10, couch is a sleeper sofa but not one of the beds advertised, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the home and have many reviews, recent reviews that state how clean the home is. Issues should be reported to the owner direct so they can have a chance at being resolved.

Very clean and conveniently located

  • 4 of 5

Very clean and well accommodated in terms of cooking, etc. It is conveniently located and right adjacent to Rt. 180, the main route to the Grand canyon. The only suggestion I would make is the package of channels from the satellite provider. I missed not having ESPN and Golf channel.

Convenient location, warm home

  • 4 of 5

Close to grocery store, variety of restaurants and other amenities. Enjoyed meeting Dina. Warm home, some more lamps around the house would be nice. A note needs to be made that one needs to be sure the refrigerator and freezer doors shut tightly. We enjoyed the stay and found it easy to get around and to our destinations. Would stay here again!

Nice house good location

  • 5 of 5

The house is clean and nicely appointed in a good location a short walk from downtown. The house had an easy check in and check out process and worked well for us (2 families of 2 adults and 2 kids each) great fenced in yard for the kids. The only downside is that is very close to a busy street which did have some noise for the people in the bedrooms closest to the street but nothing that was bothersome. The picture of the fenced in yard is the front of the house and is near that busy street. The one suggestion I would have is some sort of shade for the table in the front. It became a bit difficult to spend time outside in the afternoon with direct sunlight. Overall great place, would highly recommend.

Great space! Needs a couple updates

  • 4 of 5

The space was great for the amount of people we had, 5 adults and 4 kids. Nice appliances except the fridge would randomly leak from the freezer it seemed like it always happened when we used the ice dispenser. There is a big ac unit for the master bedroom that is in the walk-in closet but the whole house ac unit didn't seem do be working the rest of the house was hot at night. The bathroom next to the living room is outdated and they give instructions on how to get the shower/bath started. Time for a update! Every time I called to ask questions they were always great with answers. We came into town early and tried to waste time and do activities in the area and than bought groceries. When we got the groceries there was still a great amount of time til check in. We asked the lady that was cleaning if we could put the groceries in the house she was nice enough to let us do that. We were very greatful for that!

Owner's Response: Check in time is clearly stated in your check in instructions as 4 PM you should plan your arrival accordingly. Part of the charm of our home is that original 1950s bathroom it does have an updated toilet, vanity and a great water pressure in the shower bath . It is also stated that there is not an AC unit in this house so there is no whole house AC, most homes in Flagstaff don't have AC as there are only a handful of days that are hot enough to need it. And we do have the portable evocative cooler for those days.

This place was perfect! Perfect location, perfect size, perfect amenities, perfect response time!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, our two teenage daughters and my elderly father stayed here to tour the area. We were an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon and 40 minutes from Sedona so the location was just right for us. The house was big enough to accommodate all five of us with ample room to spread out. The master bedroom was on the opposite side of the house with a large bathroom, a HUGE closet and a portable swamp cooler. The toilets were nice and high which made it easy for my dad to use (no squatty toilets here)! We loved having a washer and dryer to clean our clothes. The master had an air bed and the other rooms had super comfy (softer) beds. The whole house had a super comfy vibe with a huge brick fireplace in the living room and great decorations throughout. In addition, the house was well stocked with the necessities (toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap and dryer sheets)! Dina was great about communicating and suggesting places to eat or pick up things. Most importantly, the place was SO clean. We stayed at another place in Page after staying in Flagstaff and were dissapointed because it didn't even compare to Dina's place. We have stayed in a lot of vrbo's and I would say this is definitely in the top 5. I highly recommend booking this place, you won't be dissapointed!
