About the property

2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath mountain view

This 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath chalet overlooking Gatlinburg has been re-decorated and refurnished so that its comforts are as top-notch as its view of the mountains. With hardwood floors, wood-burning fireplace and luxurious furnishings, Mountain Patriot offers a romantic ambiance with modern comforts and entertainment for our guest. The living room and each bedroom feature flat screen tvs with cable. The bedrooms offer king-size beds and each has it own private full bath and separate deck access.

For the kids and the kid-at-heart in your group there are two vintage arcade games to go along with all the other electronic distractions.

Mountain Patriot is decorated with antique artwork and decor from World War I and II. Also, the home features other Americana accents which compliments its antique wood-burning fireplace. The open kitchen offers new granite counter-tops and Calphalon cookware. With both an indoor jacuzzi and an outdoor hot tub, relaxing in a jetted tub is not dependent upon the weather. Comfortable outdoor deck located on each level to take full advantage of this cabin fabulous views.

Located in the prestigious Chalet Village community overlooking Gatlinburg, Mountain Patriot benefits from full city services and has access to the swimming pools and tennis courts located at the three Chalet Village Owners Club facilities. Shopping in Pigeon Forge is a twenty minute drive while the National Park is a five minute either by Gatlinburg bypass or through downtown. Great view!!!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for our family, spent most of the time upstairs relaxing. Fast access to downtown, pizza place at the foot of hill was great to bring back and just enjoy the view. Went for spring break, not crowded including Dollywood. Would Definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub. The children enjoyed the Jacuzzi and racing game. The cabin was exactly as it is described.

We arrived extremely late in the night to find the lights were on and inside temperature perfect. Thank you!

We would stay here again, gladly.

A Wonderful Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at many chalets and cabins at Gatlinburg, and this one rates with the top ones. A very nice, very clean, comfy home with a magnificent view of the mountains, and a far-away view of Gatlinburg. The home is an older one, but has been completely updated and tastefully decorated. Two of the bathroom floors are old and stained, but they were clean, so just an eye-sore, not a problem. There is a bidet in one of the bathrooms, oh the conversations my grandchildren and I had over that! The jaccuzi between the living room and kitchen is strange if this were a year round house, but for a vacation place, it's just fun. My granddaughters put their swim suits on and got in it first thing. One evening my Grandson ate his dinner in the jacuzzi. The beds are very comfortable, the sleeper sofa is a typical sleeper sofa, not so comfortable. We had no linen for the sleeper sofa, so I e-mailed Dianne, and some was brought the next day. Nice service. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, the only thing it's short on is glasses. There is only a few, and nothing plastic for children. There was only one towel and wash cloth per person. Luckily we brought beach towels for the hot tub. I bought detergent while we were out and kept the towels washed.. No garbage bags or dish washer detergent, probably an oversight of the cleaning personnel. The hot tub is large, and was so relaxing. A park style charcoal grill in the back. It's not large, but it was perfect for our needs. Now about the race car game. My grandson loved it, and I would probably do it again just for him but you can't imagine how loud it is until you hear it. It drowned out the TV's. I would rather the sound be disconnected, it's that disturbing. I retreated to the upper deck while he played. Could still hear it, but it was bearable. The roads to the chalet and the steep driveway are not for the faint hearted (and I'm a TN girl used to the mountains!) but we made it up and down without incident. Many, many chipmunks around and some wild turkeys, but we were disappointed not to see a bear this time.

great cabin. Great location!

  • 4 of 5

It was a really great cabin. The arcade games were great for the kids. Beautiful views. Plenty of room. Nice bedrooms with big flat screens. Hot tub was great outside. Another review said it was strange that the hot tub inside was next to the kitchen and living room--we thought it was totally awesome! Also a great place if you are interested in wartime history. The cabin is designed with great wartime art. You could even see the Ober tram and the Gatlinburg space needle from the cabin. So close to everything. Right next to the smokey mountain National park.

Nice get away from everyday life.

  • 3 of 5

Mountain Patriot is an okay place to get away. The property is decorated nicely and it is comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The bathrooms are a little outdated and need updating. Enjoyed being away from all the noise downtown. Our daughter enjoyed getting to play in the Club House Pools at the end of our busy days in the National Park. The driveway is steep but most of them in the area are.
