This beautiful and unique swiss chalet style cabin meet the desires of many visitors. The THREE bedrooms are distinctly decorated. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds. The third bedroom offers a sitting area (which is a great place for the kids to play video, or watch their own tv) which folds into Two double beds. One bedroom, fashioned with antique furniture and a glass door to the deck, is on the main level along with one bathroom. The other two bedrooms are located upstairs along with a nice size bath. The beautiful greatroom has a large stone wood burning fireplace as a focal point with plenty of seating. There is a double slider onto the deck (with seating and propane grill)which offers the feel of being in a tree house, sitting in the midst of tree tops. There is a washer/dryer room available, a full kitchen, and lovely dining area. There is a new driveway with parking for two vehicles. This cabin is large enough for 6 or 8 to enjoy comfortably. It is cozy enough for a couple to enjoy for a private getaway. Enjoy your time amongst the trees and enjoy every season or get out and enjoy the multiple amenities of Bent Tree Resort and the North Georgia Mountains. Small pets are optionally welcome. We Do Have WiFi (due to many requests :-))!
My family and I purchased this unique cabin some years ago to enjoy on holidays and to have for a retirement home. We currently live in the middle Georgia area.
Susan Feehan purchased this cabin in 2010
We have stayed at this cabin with our family several times. The community activities kept the younger crowd busy and happy - fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking. My husband and I preferred relaxing on the back deck, watching the wildlife and grilling out. The kids preferred sleeping in great room watching the fire, which we have had going in several seasons, just for fun. The cabin rents for a fair price but brings a lifetime of great family memories. Thank you.
While the owner was very nice in accommodating a last minute rental request, we were very unhappy with the experience and will not stay here again. We were warned that the drive way was very steep and it's really beyond a safe angle for anyone to drive. There was a mouse in the house - literally and there was a screw sticking out of the pantry that someone could have hit their head on if they were not careful. We have stayed at Bent Tree in the past and there are some steep hillside driveways but this was really dangerous. We also didn't really care for all the little notes everywhere and the trash bags were at the bottom of the trash can so we couldn't find them until after we packed up all the trash that didn't fit in the trash bag in grocery bags since we have to take the trash to the dumpster - we didn't pull out the trash bag until the day we left because we didn't want to leave it outside for critters to get into and we had dogs inside. It would be helpful to have trash bags in the pantry so they can be easily accessed.
We enjoyed our stay only for 2 great nights. We enjoy just relaxing by the fireplace reading a book.
Ruiz & Sanchez family.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our recent 3-night stay in this lovely cabin! It was absolutely as it was described with a beautiful deck, gorgeous fireplace, large great room and full kitchen. Nothing negative to say, but just a warning, the third bedroom has sofa-like furniture that converts into beds, but they are not the softest! If anyone is arthritic, call dibs on one of the other two bedrooms, which were great! Would absolutely recommend this cabin and would absolutely stay there, again!!
This house was very comfortable and cozy. The area is beautiful and it is in a great location ....close to lots of hiking and mountain biking trails. The owner, Susan, is wonderful. She responds to all emails quickly, 100% of the time. My family and I had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving holiday.
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely stay at this beautiful cabin in Bent Tree community. There were plenty of activities from kayaking on the lake to hiking the trails. Our black lab had a wonderful time at the dog park meeting and greeting other friendly pups in the neighborhood. The cabin had everything we needed to prepare meals, connect to the internet and watch the college football games over Labor Day weekend. Susan was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay in the woods at Fort Feehan. Plentiful deer walking through the back yard. The back deck was great with a propane grill and lots of comfy furniture. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a peaceful vacation. Kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare and cook our meals. Layout was perfect for a couple or a family. Property was very clean and well-maintained. Everything was ready for our arrival. Owner provided excellent customer service.
