Set up for the whole family, plus Grandpa & Grandma, make memories at the lake! The full kitchen is completed with a grill on the deck. An extra refrigerator in the garage will help with groceries and cold drinks. Enjoy our neighborhood restaurant if you prefer. The two docks on the water front are your personal spaces to enjoy the water your way - enjoy the view, fish a bit or float on your tube. Bring your water shoes and life vests for lake fun. There's a rainy day option with a pool table and foosball table in the garage. Crank your favorite tunes with Pandora on the TV and cheer on your favorite team on the satellite TV.
Plenty of parking is available on the green space outside the drive. There is a washer / dryer in the garage. Let us know if there is any special way we can prepare for your stay. The barn and a lake deck is handicap accessible. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 11am.
Roger & Cindy Manz moved off the farm to Lake Wabaunsee. Roger always wanted to build a barn here, a testament to his farm heritage. Lake View Barn brings a down home flavor to your lake vacation. The rural setting of this Kansas lake will set your mind free. Beautiful in all seasons, bring your camera and have a memorable stay!
A kayak becomes a tiny secluded island. Hundreds of song birds supply musical accompaniment. And all at once, it feels like someone just pressed the world's pause button...
Plan your vacation for Lake Wabaunsee's Lake View Barn.
The Flint Hills of Kansas is a unique setting for our spring fed lake. Come enjoy nature's best!
Our family had a wonderful time at the barn! Hoping we can come back again!
We reserved The Lakeview Barn for our sons wedding, it was a perfect location for the rehearsal and hanging out before and after the wedding. It was big and spacious enough for the wedding party to get ready and then stay after the wedding. A great venue that I would recommend to anyone. Jack & Gail Carlson
We loved our stay at the barn and would highly recommend it to anyone!
The lake and the surrounding flint hills are beautiful. The kids loved the pool table, Foosball game, the golf cart and the rope swing. The adults loved the kayaks, two docks and the awesome back porch over looking the lake. This is a great place to stay.
We rented the Lakeview Barn for all of our family to get together. It was a great time with lots to do. The kayaks are a nice addition to use on the lake. Fishing was fun and our grandson caught his first fish by himself. Host Cindy and Roger were great if you needed anything. Very peaceful and relaxing place. We loved the covered porch as it rained some while we were there but we could still sit outside. The lake was beautiful. We will sure book this again.
We had the BEST stay!!! Cindy is an amazing host and even let us borrow a cup of flour!! The place is beautiful and has so many places for you to hang out - the decks are beautiful and the dock is so fun!! We love Lake Wabaunsee and I'm so glad I got to share it with so many of my friends (normally we can only have 6-7 people at my friend's place).
Lake Wabaunsee is a spring fed lake in the heart of the Kansas Flint Hills. You are welcome to bring your boat, jet ski or sail boat. An inspection and permit will be required. Bring your favorite book or plan to watch the game - satelite TV, Netflix movies and Pandora music provided. Don't forget the marshmallows! We've got a fire pit too!

As a Guest at Lake View Barn, you do so at your own risk. We require you accept full responsibility for each child who arrives on the property. Use of a kayak, and/or firepit carries risk and must be supervised. All persons must wear water shoes and life vest while enjoying the kayaks. We suggest children wear the life vests and water shoes while playing in the lake, also.
