We think we offer what holiday makers now demand. Spanish charm with totally modern fittings. The bathrooms are high spec and the kitchen has all conveniences with granite work tops.The 4 bedrooms in the main house have reverse cycle air-conditioners that can heat or cool the villa rapidly. There are 7 overhead fans and all windows have insect screens. The 5th bedroom is entered from outside and has its own sitting room and bathroom. The villa is suitable for children but as with most Spanish villas the pool is not separately fenced and children need to be supervised. The villa owners who live in close proximity, will be happy to provide any assistance in any matters. The poolman comes regularly for pool cleaning. A free welcome pack is provided including meat, fruit, cheese, bread, wine, margarine and more. All linen, bath towels , sunscreen, shampoos and beach mats are provided and included in the price.There is no extras on top of the rental.

Accessibility: Wheelchair access is possible to the lower floor and pool deck.

Outside: Large private garden with kidney shaped pool and outdoor shower. The pool terrace is large 90 square metres and partially covered by a pergola. Outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas for shade are included. A brick Spanish Barbecue is located close to the naja. Further 2 large, private sun terraces are located on the upper level with 270 degree view of the Mediterranean

Coast/Beach and other info: The pebble beaches of Ambolo and Granadella are located approx 5 mins drive. Both are lovely, secluded beaches in small sheltered bays. The main sandy beach the Arenal is in Javea about a 6 minute drive

Javea is located between Alicante in the south and Valencia in the north. Both airports are approximately a 90 minute drive. There is a regular ALSA bus service from both cities. A car is however recommended to make the most of your holiday in Javea. We are happy to recommend car rental companies who we have dealt with previously.

The beautiful historic village of Guadalest is located about 45 mins away. The fishing port of Denia where ferries leave for Ibiza and Mallorca is a 30 minute drive.

Jalon Valley (Sat antique markets) 30 minutes drive. Also well known for its wine and restaurants. Pedregeur (Sunday flea markets)30 minutes. Benidorm for its theme parks and night clubs 45 minutes.

Javea comprises of three main areas, the port, the Aranel and the Pueblo (old town).

Fantastic Property

I had chosen this villa based on the excellent previous reviews and was extremely happy I did. Our party consisted of a range of ages including a 5 month old , several family members in their twenties and thirties and my husband and I ( we are over 30 and that is all I am saying). The area of Balcon Al Mar is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views and the villa itself exceeded expectations. The villa was spacious, equipped with everything you would need including towels and sun creams and we spent a very happy, lazy week eating, sun bathing and swimming.

I would also like to say, unfortunately on our first night our little grandson became ill ( nothing holiday related) and Russell and Eileen were so helpful and kind and went above and beyond what I would have expected. We all loved it so much we are booking again for next year and we can't wait.

Owner's Response: We were very concerned when the little baby became ill and naturally we went with the parents to the local clinic and then on to the local hospital. Fantastic time in this beautiful Villa

We have just spent the best 2 weeks in this beautiful Villa. It was superb for our two families - 5 children and 4 adults and we could not have chosen better. It met every need we had and was fully equiped with everything we could have wished for. Beautifully clean inside and out! The pool was a perfect size and the garden space was great for the children to play. Russell was very helpful throughout our stay answering any questions we had. We miss being there already - the views are absolutely breath taking... fantastic accommodation, hosts and area could not have asked for any more thankyou so much and will hopefully see you in the future :) would recommend this to anybody big smiles all round!

Excelent Luxury Villa

We traveling a lot. But 1st time we have impressed with this villa and owners.

Villa is Luxury. Much better than in the photos. Very nice views. Tidy, comfort. Provided everything you need to safe your language space. Owners very honest and very Welcome people.

We have arrive 25th of May 2016 and stay till 7th of June.

We meet Russell owner of this villa. Russell was very nice and show us all villa. What we was very surprised, Russell have provide even some food and drinks in the fridge. Very helpful with all our questions, provide local map and explain nice places to view in Javea and round areas.

We would like to say Big Thanks to you both xxx

Highly Recommend this villa to everyone. You will never be disappointed if you chose this villa.

Thanks for the best service,, you both made our holyday more nicer.

Superb Views, Modern Interiors, Heavenly Sunsets.

We enjoyed staying at Balcon del Mar so much in August 2015 that we returned again in late September. We live in Dubai.

We have rented numerous villas in Javea. Some have been disappointing and most have been acceptable. Balcon del Mar is different. It's major selling point is the location. The panoramic sea views are stunning. The website does not do it justice. It is located on an urbanisation with easy access to shops, restaurants and beach. There is even a great little place that serves takeaway Paella. However, it feels totally private and is very relaxing and peaceful.

The villa has recently been refurbished. It's Spanish charm has been retained but the villa is totally modern.

Here is a list of the things we liked but that you don't always get in a villa rental. Balcon del Mar is top notch.

Tasteful neutral furniture and interiors

Comfortable beds with good neutral bed linen

Snow White good quality fluffy towels

Great showers in modern hotel standard bathrooms (the photos don't do them justice)

Modern kitchen appliances and a good size fridge

Well equipped kitchen

Well maintained lovely garden and pool. Excellent BBQ

( Australian owners know about out-door living)

Superb panoramic views which make it hard to leave the house

Easy access to services. Spa hotel, restaurants and beach a short drive.

Secure parking

Charming, helpful unobtrusive hosts.

Huge master bedroom with panoramic views. Loads of space so we all had our privacy, handy if you have teenagers with you. 2 bedrooms on the ground floor if you are bringing the older generation or anyone who needs disabled access without it feeling clinical.

Excellent value for money since we have paid more in the past and have been very disappointed.

We can't wait to go back! We would buy it if they would part with it.

Wonderful, comfortable villa with gorgeous view

A superlative property with a fantastic, panoramic view over the Mediterranean. Master bedroom extremely comfortable, with a great view from the bed, 3 other well proportioned double bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms with great showers. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good sized well laid out kitchen with all mod-cons and a dishwasher that actually works! Great pool, pool cleaner comes early, outdoor shower. Rental car a must, but a good range of facilities within 5 minutes drive including 3 nice beaches (our favourite was Portixol), good restaurants and shops and a very good Indian Restaurant (Everest Spice). Javea/Xabia is just 5 minutes by car and is a very pleasant, small town, with everything you might need. Very helpful and cooperative owners who live just around the corner.

Balcon Al Mar is a prestigious development located close to the town of Javea on the Costa Blanca. The villa is located in an elevated position at the tip of Cabo De La Nau with 270 degree ocean views. The villa has recently had a makeover and every comfort taken into consideration for the holidaymaker. The principle part of the villa is located on street level with a brand new upper floor comprising the master and second bedrooms. The pool terrace is accessed through a French doors in the lounge or the enclosed naja. The villa is double glazed with reverse cycle air conditioning in 4 bedrooms and a wood fire in the lounge keep the villa cosy during winter. There are 7 ceiling fans.The southerly facing house enables extensive ocean views from nearly every room. The house is fitted out with quality fittings to ensure every comfort is available for even the most discerning travellers.

Golf: Javeas main golf couse is located about 10 minutes drive away. Le Sella and Denia golf courses 20 minutes drive
