Charming Riverfront Cabin - Walking Distance To Basalt - newly remodeled
Why Christy Clettenberg chose Basalt
Lodge at River's Edge was purchased and extensively remodeled in 2005 and again in 2015. It is a family owned and operated business. We take pride in providing luxurious accommodations along with the beautiful surroundings. No where else in this Valley are you able to find a riverfront setting where the river literally runs past your front door. Plus you are only a 1/2 block from downtown Basalt. It's the best of both worlds. You can enjoy cocktails on the riverfront terrace and then walk into Basalt for great dining and music.

Relax by the river
Magical cabin in the Frying Pan, clean, well equipped and comfortable. We loved our stay!
Close to town but secluded at the same time.
It was cozy, cute and inviting. It has all the amenities you need. Very peaceful next to the water. Close to great restaurants.
Had an annual fly fishing trip with my two fishing buds and the cabin exceeded all expectations. The entire process was painless and the cabin and grounds were quiet and well maintained. Kept the windows open at night to hear the river flow by. Very peaceful and visually appealing. Also like that you can walk into town - just 5 minutes. Highly recommend the place and would definitely visit again!
Such an awesome, clean cabin with the perfect location! Right on the river just like the pictures show! Can't wait to book again!
Wonderful cabin on the beautiful Frying Pan River!
My husband and our two sons, 18 yrs and 21 yrs, and I had a lovely time staying at this lovely cabin. The cabin was perfectly clean, very high quality and effecient were all the appliances and furnishings. We found it very comfortable and homey. The manager is super responsive helpful and very nice to work with. The location is amazing the river is just steps away and the picinic table and chairs and hammock were so lovely to sit and enjoy the river. My sons’ fly fished the river right there and had fun. We all fly fished closer to the dam and caught and released several nice browns and rainbows. Loved being a 5 min walk to the charming town of Basalt with lots of great friendly eating spots!! Several good hikes near by. Also quick drive to Snowmass Village and Aspen.
This was such the perfect spot. I lovely small home with the best view of the river. The hammock next to the river was perfect for relaxing. The house was very close to town so we could walk! Several great restaurants in town! Aspen is just a 30 minute drive away so we were able to do some great hikes at Maroon Bells and Independence Pass.
