Our Tahoe Chalet is a dream come true for our young family of 6. As lifelong Northern Californians, it was a no-brainer to look to South Lake Tahoe when deciding on a vacation spot to build memories with our family and friends.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, away from the noise of the city, our cabin awaits you. Sit on 1 of 3 balconies or on the deck and listen to the wind blow through the trees and enjoy the 'all natural' pine scent.

Relax in the spa under the beautiful natural pines and enjoy each other's company. Get the kinks out after a long hike or loosen up the tail bone bruise from the hard fall you took on the slopes.

Go for a short walk. Go for a long walk. Go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing or mountain biking or snowmobiling!! Our home is just 1 block from miles of trails through the forest and meadows. Even toddlers will enjoy the 15 minute walk down to the Truckee River.

If you love skiing or snowboarding, we are just 8 minutes to Heavenly and 15 minutes to Sierra at Tahoe.

If you want to hit the beaches it's just 8 minutes as well. And we're 8 minutes to 'The Y'. You can get to just about anything in South Lake Tahoe in 8 minutes.

Want to enjoy the night-life without calling a cab? We have the 'Smallest Pub in Lake Tahoe' right in our very own cabin. There is always something special on tap, but if you're hoping that Natural Ice or Pabst Blue Ribbon is on tap, you will surely be disappointed. We're not interested in a house full of frat boys. This is our family home and we simply want you to enjoy the pub and game room responsibly and in good taste as we do. Drink responsibly and with integrity and the pub will remain open indefinitely.

Speaking of the game room, we have a bumper pool table that will likely keep you up all hours of the night (It's addicting). There is a TV with Cable, tons of games for the kids and family and even a vending machine fully stocked with candy for the kids... and adults. So bring some quarters.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding our cabin, local activities, calendar or anything else.

It was a beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house to get away and relax. That is just what we did. We brought our own food and the kitchen was fully stocked of all the utensils, pots and pans, ect. The hot tub is where we all spent most of our nights, with a glass of wine or two, and we had snow flurries while in there. We built a fire at night and vegged out while watching movies. The beds are super comfortable, and I am a stickler on beds because I only like my bed but I slept like a baby. I will definitely be going back to this house sometime in the summer so I can enjoy the lake. Thank you Nathan and Amber for the wonderful stay!!!

Great find in South Lake Tahoe!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in late March with two families and two couples (8 adults and 2 children). The house is super cozy and inviting. Plenty of room to hang out in the living room / kitchen area. We enjoyed a lovely Easter dinner our last night, sitting around the large dining table. We didn't spend as much time in the loft / game room area as we thought we would, but the two adults who stayed up there enjoyed it. Nathan and Amber were great to work with and responded quickly to minor issues that arose. Crediting us for the keg refill and providing a welcome bottle of vino were very nice touches. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so next snow season!

The only suggestions would be more bowls for cereal, soup, etc. for all guests :o) and maybe a thorough cleaning of the hot tub (we all noticed a very "earthy" smell to it and it looked a bit green).

Thanks again for sharing your lovely home!

Lovely place!

  • 5 of 5

The chalet was perfect and what we were looking for. Rooms were clean and well equipped for our scout group with the exception of a single closet upstairs that might had dirty linens. We notified Nathan and Amber and they were very courteous and apologetic. Overall, we would recommend this chalet to others!

Nice quiet neighborhood and clean house.

  • 4 of 5

Although we didn't spend much time in the house it was very nice and clean. Everyone had their own bedroom (4) and there was a bathroom on both floors. The kids enjoyed the game room. Kitchen was nice and roomy. Neighbors were quiet and we meet one who was very nice. The wood steps down to the house got a little slippery with the ice/snow. I would diffidently stay there again!

Beautiful Chalet perfect for a weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time with 8 of my friends for the weekend. The house is just as described, and located in a quiet neighborhood. Casinos weren't too far away, $15-20 which is about a $30 can ride but if split between people not too bad. The beds were all very comfortable and you rarely find rooms with King beds in Tahoe which was a nice surprise. Everyone slept comfortably on a bed and a few more people could be easily accommodated. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed.

Nathan and Amber was easy to work with and get ahold of. Only issue we had was wasn't able to use the keg in the game room which we were super excited for. Co2 cylinder ran out of air, had to go to town to pay for a new one only to come back and it still wasn't working. Also, halfway through the BBQ the propane tank ran out and we had to take our BBQ inside. Another cylinder was by the BBQ but that was empty as well. Also, ran out of dishwasher powder so bring some just in case.

Overall great trip, minor issues but truly a homey house with character. Would definitely stay again!!!

Girls Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this cabin with 11 girls. Loved the Cabin and it had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was great and the cabin had plenty of room . Very Cute and updated . Cab rides got pricey to the Casino's($30) but if splitting its not too bad. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to the Casinos from the Cabin. The beds were very comfortable. The owner responded quickly to a few different questions we had while we were there and was easy to work with.

Tip: Close the blinds in the master before you fall asleep , gets lots of sunlight early in the AM! :)
