Bourton-on-the-Water Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Five Star, Gold Award Holiday Apartments in the heart of the Cotswolds

We are proud to announce the completion of two Five Star, Gold Award apartments at the Cotswold Perfumery – a Grade II listed building - which you can now book directly online at our main website

Their position – in the very centre of the village, overlooking the village green and the River Windrush - puts them in a privileged position. A live webcam on the website shows the view from the lounge window.

Bourton on the Water is so central it makes the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. It is a beautiful area for walking, cycling or touring and not too far to the towns either - 15 miles to Cheltenham and just 25 miles to Stratford upon Avon.

The accommodation is thoroughly modern yet retains all the character and charm of this 300 year old Grade II listed building. Each apartment is completely self contained and has its own unique character. Both have one bedroom and are finished to a very high standard with full central heating, mood lighting, Sky+ HD TV, Wi-Fi and so on. A downloadable inventory on the website gives full details.

Simply the best

  • 5 of 5

After spending two months travelling UK, Ireland and Paris, I can honestly say this was the best place we stayed. The apartment had everything you could want plus more. John and his staff are extremely helpful and friendly. John is a perfect gentleman with a great sense of humour. The village is picture postcard perfect (check out the maze and model village whilst you're there) and it's well placed as a base to explore the region. We went to Oxford, Bath, Warwick, Windsor, Stratford and Tewkesbury whilst we were here. The apartment (we were in apartment one) is fitted out to the highest standard. Absolutely nothing to complain about, apart from perhaps that the bed is so comfortable, we didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The towels are so nice, we've just bought some for our own bathroom! This place definitely deserves it 5 Gold Stars. We are planning another UK trip in 2013 and if we are back in the Cotswold district, we will definitely try to book here again. 10/10

Apartment with a definite 'wow' factor!

  • 5 of 5

A 5-star Gold Award apartment in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, a village in the centre of the Cotswolds. We can honestly say this is the best accommodation we've ever stayed in! Every possible consideration has been given when equipping the apartment - from the luxury of four different settings of 'mood lighting', air conditioning in the bedroom and speakers in the bathroom to the practicality of the kitchen, providing washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Detailed comprehensive information is provided in the apartment about the village and surrounding areas which was very useful. Views from the apartment windows are amazing and the perfumery garden is beautiful. John Stephen, the owner, and his staff are really friendly and on-hand if needed. The tour of the Perfumery Factory is a must too - it was really interesting and informative. And the Cotswold Perfumery Shop is there to buy your perfume and jewellery gifts to take home. Everything about our week in Apartment 1 was memorable and we can't wait to return for another holiday there!
