Beautiful apartment in the center of Siena
This property was beyond our best expectations. Beautifully decorated and spacious, and right in the heart of Siena. Only steps away from the Piazza del Campo. Alexandra and Antonio answered many questions and were very helpful with arranging a tour of Tuscany and wine tasting. They were so hospitable. They and the property made our stay in wonderful Siena so much more memorable. My wife, three adult children and I thank you!!
Perfect apartment in the perfect location
The apartment was spacious and clean, and the location could not be beat!!!
Beautiful apartment in a very convenient location.
Very close to all of the sites of Siena. Alexandra was very helpful and booked two excursions for us. Our tour of Chianti with Fabio was really nice, he was very knowledgeable of the area and the two wineries we toured were beautiful.
very little to know interaction with person who checked us in
This is our 5th Home away vacation. Unfortunately, this one was not great as all others have been. First when we tried to get directions, the gentlemen we talked to was not help full at all and made us feel like we were out of line for even requesting help. In addition, he told us we could not drive the car up to the apartment to drop off our bags, which was not true and since he told us that we had to cart 5 heavy bags 1/2 a mile up hill and then up 4 flights of stairs. We asked him for assistance and he said, "NO" we do not help and he left. That was the last time we heard from him until we were checked out for over 2 hours. He called and wanted info on tax and cleaning charges he did not charge us for up front. Overall, nice property and not great service. If you do drive, pull up to the apartment and drop your bags, do not hike them up, there is no need.
I was surprised to read your comments regarding your stay. When you make a reservation, on the site all of the detailed information for arriving to the apartment is written. When you arrived near the apartment, you called me two times and both times you hung up on me. (Once time you referred to a "Pizzeria" that you were near, and I replied, "No", as there does not exist a pizzeria nearby the apartment, after that you hung up). If you arrive when you want, and where you want, it is frustrating for everyone to try and help at that point. You can not drive your car after 9am in the morning in front of the apartment. You did not ask specifically for help with the bags, your wife asked me to accompany you to the parking and we are not suppose to do it. We have an electric cart which takes the bags up the stairs to the apartment. and have always helped our guests. Regarding check-out, I asked you to advise on the time you would leave via email, but never received any email about your check out time. So I was not advised that you were leaving at 6.30am, and when I went to the apartment at 8.00am you had already departed.
We pride ourselves on our level of service, as it is our strong point and do all possibile to help our guests always.
Great apartment, close to everything.
Antonio took us on a lovely wine tour and shared one of his favourite restaurants with us. Apartment was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the apartment during the wine tasting in Antonio's wine cellar. The bottle of wine was a nice welcome gift!
What a special historic place.
Perfect apartment for my family. A block from the city center where they hold the Palio horse race. Three large well appointed bedrooms and excellent bathrooms. It was like being in a museum with frescos on the very high ceilings. Our host Alexandra was super responsive, met us the minute we arrived and walked us to the taxi stand when we left, waiting to make sure we got our cab and made our train. Also helped us with restaurant and activity choices. Would love to return.
Palazzo Cinotti is located in a limited access area, mostly pedestrian, it is not possible to reach the Palazzo by car. It is possible to arrive in front of the main entrance of the Palazzo just with a private driver. The nearest parking Il Campo (the street is “Via di Fontanella”) is close to Porta Tufi , at a short walk from the Palazzo, crossing via Mattioli (the entrance road to the car park) and then via San Pietro, making a right turn into via di Città. The car park is open 24 hours, on payment. Car Valet : Available on request, 35 Euro per day.
We are glad to offer private wine tasting, winery tours, gourmet tours , cooking classes, airport transfer, limousine service, & siena food tours.
Availability on request.
