My daughter and I wanted a beach that allowed dogs and we heard Cape San Blas is really nice -it is! We were thrilled to have a week at Cape Sunset. The home is clean and comfy and the owner is very helpful and made our stay extra easy and fun. The top floor gives a great view of both the ocean and the bay. I highly recommend this rental to anyone that wants to relax and unwind with family , friends, and pets!
We enjoyed our stay at Cape Sunset very much. We have been going to the Cape San Blas area each summer since 2005 and I would have to say that this is by far one of the best houses we've had the pleasure of staying in. Cape Sunset has been well stocked with everything imaginable to make a vacation fun. Great attention to detail has been given to provide so many "extras" that most rental properties do not include. The location with private access points to both the gulf and the bay is excellent. We especially enjoyed the kayaks available for our use and the park pass. The house is nicely furnished and has a very welcoming appeal. Not only was it "as advertised"...it was even better! The owner, Jenn is super friendly, pleasant to communicate with and also geniunely interested in assuring that the stay at Cape Sunset provides the best experience possible. I would highly recommend Cape Sunset.
If you're looking for a great beach house in Cape San Blas, don't look any farther. This wonderful home is perfect for fun in the sun with views not only of the beach, sunset & ocean but of the morning sunrise as well. It is well appointed with everything you need to have a great and relaxing vacation. Jennifer the owner is a joy to work with and has kept the house in great shape. We had a great time with our 2 golden retrievers and would highly recommend Cape Sunset!
We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at Cape Sunset in March 2016. The location near the State Park and ready access to both the Gulf beaches and Bay are terrific. Home itself is perfect. Just the right size with appealing furnishings, great deck/porches with dining tables to watch the sunset as you enjoy your fresh seafood dinner! The owner is very helpful and provides great beach bikes and two new kayaks for paddling in the Bay. Fantastic, uncrowded spot on the Forgotten Coast! This was our second year at Cape Sunset and we will likely be back again!
Absolutely a wonderful house to rent. Clean and very comfortable. Everthing you need for a fun relaxing vacation is here. The owner could not have been more helpful with places to see and eat. Wish we could stay longer.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cape San Blas vacation rental home named Cape Sunset. The experience far surpassed my expectations. The home was lovely, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities one could possibly ask for. We watched several sunsets from our top balcony, with glass of wine in hand. The views were outstanding. The most beautiful beach in Florida or the infamous St. Joseph’s Bay was just footsteps from our door. I have lived in Florida most of my life….there is no beach as natural, undeveloped, and pristine as that found on the Northern end of the T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. A 15 minute drive to Port St. Joe or Apalachicola for fresh seafood and of course world-famous oysters, was an added bonus to our stay. The home’s owner, Jenn, was so friendly and provided us all the information we could possibly desire, on all the local amenities. A short bike ride up to the park’s deserted and pristine beaches and a kayak ride on the bay are just a couple of activities that Jenn can fully outfit you with. Jenn could not do enough to ensure our stay was superb. We will most definitely return to Cape Sunset.
We can not tell you how wonderful this House is. The pictures on here does not even begin to show you how great it is. We just got back and are already checking our calendars when we can go back. Jennifer the owner is so wonderful great for information. The house had everything you need sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards kayaks. This is was so nice not to have to pack all this stuff for our kids. The kayaks were used daily. We caught 12 different kinds of fish. There was a picture guide at the house for you to know what you caught. Loved the beach as always. Loved the outside shower with warm water made it so much easier for the kids to rinse off. The walk was nothing to the beach or the bay. We were under red tide advisory but it didn't slow us down. We went to the bay when the ocean was a red flag. We spent the day rescuing horseshoe crabs that came in with the tide but got pinned under the driftwood that was the highlight of the trip for our girls. I cant thank the owner enough for all the extras with this house. There is 32 steps but not a big deal for us. Recommend this house.
